Okay, so what really happened is that I watched Part 1, thinking it was the Batwoman episode because it was airing in Batwoman's usual timeslot. I took all my notes, wrote the script, and it wasn't until then that I realized that Part 1 of the crossover was actually a Supergirl episode. I didn't feel like wasting the script, so this was the video I made. If you guys absolutely HAVE to have it, I'll consider reviewing the Batwoman installment of the crossover, but the thought of watching any more of this train wreck doesn't exactly fill me with joy right now.

Yeah, I've haven't been so hard on Batwoman as Thorias and others, but the last two episodes have been really bad, and what they did to KC / Batman... No no no no.
Yeah Kevin Conroy has has given so much to the role of batman over the years and he has a huge fandom. Would it be too much to ask he gets treated with respect.
Sounded to me like they just meant to prove that non-lethal Batfamily >>> murderous Batfamily. Which to be fair, is true, but the fact that they wanted to convay that message by KILLING Evil Batman when the whole point is to show that Kate won't kill or give up hope on people was a textbook example of the Batwoman writing staff not understanding how themes work
But using Kevin Conroy, who to many people is THE definitive Batman as a way to prop up Kate Kane, a show that isn't even done with its first season yet, and justify her inclusion in Crisis on Infinite Earths? It's just infuriating.

I actually don't mind Tyler as Superman, though the Supergirl writers have done a bad job of making him look like a bit of a weak ass compared to her. If they'd done that purely physically, it could technically be claimed they were following the comics, as multiple times it's stated and showed in different comics throughout the years that she could very well be more powerful than him. But they've made Superman's character seem weak and indecisive repeatedly. Hopefully they'll rectify that in his own show. They need to take a note from the Wonder Woman movies. You don't need to make a man look weak to make a woman look strong. They can both be strong in their own right. Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor were a great team. It would be nice to see that dynamic with Lois and Clark.
This crossover let me realize how bad of a "superhero" Batwoman is, she apparently been a vigilante for a year, but when Harbinger goes for her she's hunting down Alice and the Wonderland Gang, which means Alice has been terrorizing Gotham for a year or maybe more.

Well, part 2 does get more AWFUL Kate moments and does some more tearing down of Batman to lift her up so... Id love to see you do it but I understand that this is hard to watch, I myself didnt, I just looked up clips of the few things I could get behind and was let down immensely by 2/3.

In fairness, the last several episodes of "The Flash" revolved around Barry coming to terms with his impending death in Crisis, and making sure his team would carry on in his stead. But for anyone that doesn't watch the Flash, I guess they could've added more of that.
Part 3 of the crossover was really well done, all around.
Black Lightning's episode just before it, is more of a tie-in; you don't have to watch it for the whole story, but it's still a good episode. But then, the whole series is far better than the other CW shows.

Smallville came along when homage meant something. As that YT clip showed, Clark had found a life that was teased in Superman 2.

I had to break out the "Crisis On Infinite Earths" softcover compilation and reread it just to get grounded again. The CW seems to do one thing well: hate male leads and promote an agenda I do not agree with. I'm all for a strong woman....I married one...but I'm not into a complete rewrite where everybody on earth hates men. Reread the original "Crisis" and you'll see how badly this CW corruption falls flat. P.S. "Batwoman" is banned in our home. The wife loves Batgirl, Wonder Woman, from her younger days, but watched ten minutes of Batwoman and said..."turn it off." P.S. We're in our sixties.....we've been with comics since the 1960's...

Yeah it's terrible. It's like they're afraid to have him do anything remotely useful because they're afraid he'll upstage Supergirl, and they have to constantly remind the audience how much better Supergirl is. Out of everything that has been said, the one about the Monitor being taken down by Green Arrow of all people might just be the most dumb founding thing of all time. I mean, they are in essence, higher dimensional gods. Rivaling beings like the Beyonder, TOAA, The Living Tribunal and so forth. So that's both stupid, and down right hilarious.
There's an entire arc/plot in season 8 where Oliver makes special Arrows that can take down even the Monitor. This is what happens when you watch a crossover blindly.

So while you have a lot of good points there are a few things I want to address.
1. Regarding the details of the story: If you have started watching the series only at the crossover that would make sense but all the shows have been planting seeds for the "Crisis" for multiple seasons. People up to date on every show will know every Crisis detail before even the first episode.
2. Evacuating Earth: On a normal Earth it may be difficult. But you have a Earth filled with people who can move super quick (Flash, Supers, J'onn Jones).
3. Barry's Death: The montior told Barry he would be dying in this crisis ages ago. His own season has a big arc of him coming to terms with his death.

In 2019, how are these even shows? I love superhero shows, but good god. I gave up Arrow after season 3, when everyone caught everyone's arrows, and everyone died and came back.
I made it through season five, if only to finish up the flashbacks.
I left when laurel came back, she’s so annoying!
The series pretty much died to me when John Barrowman (Dark Archer) left. He was the best thing about that show. Funny you mention everyone coming back to life. He was one of the only ones they didn’t bring back!
In comic books characters die and come back all the time. It's silly. Death is meaningless.

It's bad adaptations like that which makes me want to become a good writer- I want to create exciting stories that are well written and interesting, because people deserve good stories, and if I can bring such stories into this world...why not?

I'd given up on super girl long ago I can stand flash from time to time but the promise of crisis on infinite earths got me interested again but it's seems I'm far better off with out cw's version. You REAAALLLY should do the rest of the crossover episodes, your audience will love it, it'll be good for your analytics/adsense and it's just good for closure
The next episode was worse... I know rhis is the CW, so i dont expect great stories. But they could have had a build up through out the season to then focus on a better story during this, but as always CW is garbage. I quitt Arrow when i realized it was their batman story. I quit Flash when it started feeling repetitive. I quit LoT when time travel was a joke. Anyways. Thank you for your videos. 😎
I stopped watching Flash after the first 4 seasons. I watched the first episode of season 5, but then I finally woke up and realized the show was seriously just a paying gig to all involved in the making of it. Clearly, every new season of it starts with the establishment that, at some point in a possible future, Barry Allen disappears, but at this rate, IT WILL OBVIOUSLY NEVER HAPPEN.
As for LoT, I stopped watching that after the third season. Somehow, after that, I was simply left with the feeling it would never top pitting a giant blue plush doll against a time demon. I watched the pilot episodes of both Arrow and Supergirl and felt deeply unimpressed. Arrow leaned way too much on the cheesy drama element and not enough on the crime fighting and Supergirl just seemed like she was constantly switching back and forth between being proud to be Superman's cousin and being frustrated by her living in his shadow. I mean, either you sincerely want a big red S on your chest or you don't; talk about a dumb broad.
Of course, I also took time out to watch both of the first crossover events. If you ask me, they were alright, but they also proved to me that not even the addition of time-travelers, space aliens, and/or interdimensional Nazis are enough to make Arrow an interesting show. Monitor brought Mia (and her half-brother William and their friend Connor Hawke) back in time so Oliver could see them as grown-ups and get to know his daughter. The last episode of Arrow had them on Lian Yu to run an errand for the Monitor that ended up turning Lyla into Harbinger. Mia didn't try anything with time travel. Oliver was just reflecting.
Barry completely knew that Crisis was happening. That was the whole arc of this past semester.
In fairness to the Legends (very faint fairness), they had not realized that time was changed, and it only just registered with Ray because of one song being changed/added. The rest of the season has no excuse because Were-Kaupes and Mama Cosma (just check the Arrowverse Wiki and the actress' IMDb if you need context)

For the evacuation plan, they're making it up as they go along. They're probably thinking "we'll figure out the logistics after Crisis is averted". And J'onn probably just sent out a worldwide Tweet or something like "Earth is SOL. Can we use your ships to get everyone off to another universe?" Also, they don't have enough time to get all 7.5 billion people off. Only 3 billion.

Thorias: cw crossovers are just a big ass cg superhero battle with a lot of fan service.

My guess is they probably swapped Brainy and Alex's role somewhere. I mean, it makes sense for Brainy (the science dude) to be helping Lena design the inter-dimensional portal, and Alex to be going on baby retrieval. Instead we get a stupid scene where Alex somehow is a quick study on ultra-tech dimensional portals and somehow helps Lena, probably due to some last minute change to the script, because why have a male character do anything useful when a totally unqualified female character can take their place?
One thing you missed, that I considered important in a way: notice how devoid or real emotion the chars are. For example, Kara hears about that her mon died = almost a tear and nothing else. Clark hear that his son is missing, instead of IMMEDIATELY doing something about, after all his son is a BABY, who could died SUPER easily, he goes to a reunion to later says that he will go after his son, AND, stops to hear Oliver... On reality a father with his powers on this situation would go ultra fast save his son and come back, the attack was not happening at that moment.

P.S. About the deal Oliver made with the Monitor to save Barry and Kara - it gets WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY dumber if you actually watch the crossover episode this happens; see - in a nutshell - the Earth is about to go bye-bye or whatever, so Oliver goes on to talk with the Monitor to help them, while Superman fights the "big bad" (some guy who copied all his powers or some such). At this time Barry and Kara will move around the world to slow down time (yeah, let that sink in x.x) to give Oliver more time.
Monitor reveals that will kill them and Oliver say "no" because they "inspire people" x.x Skipping the fact that slowing down time doesn't really help the heroes any (because it slows down the good guys too: it doesn't give the heroes advantage, it just makes the events unfold at a slower rate the same way they would have anyway), the reasoning is laughable.
