The ending made me miss Game of Thrones ending.
Thank God I searched for this video after watching season 3. There was feeling inside me after watching season2 that I should watch a recap. Cause also I didn't like the ending of s2 also.

Unpopular opinion: I loved the ending and to me it made the whole show better cause it gave more depth to it. I think its pretty genious how the last episode gave the audience a key that shows the proportion between the real world and magnes schizophrenic world. So I really enjoyed going through all the previous episodes and thinking about what may have happened in the "real" world. I think that they really made a good job with mixing real events with his traumatas, it makes all sense psychologically. The lines of the mother, that were funny all the time now turned into really heartbreaking evidence of a loving and caring mother who does everything for getting her son out of his schizophrenic episodes. Also, the ending really moved me because it was so bittersweet; bitter, because it turned out that mangne really was the "weak" child all the time, but also positive because he managed with the help of his "outcast" friends and family to stabilize himself so that he doesn't need his daylight hallucinations anymore. I also saw a lot of similarities/hints to donnie Darko, which is my favorite movie. sorry for my bad English.
It is badly done, there are a ton of plotholes that were not explained, like Vidar being killed by Magne, all the people killed by the world serpent, Tyr losing his arm, the kid getting shot in the eye, etc, etc...
