Hey dude! So I just moved out to Arizona from South Dakota… but I’m similar to you when it comes to an addictive personality when wanting something, i don’t care what I have to do. I’m wanting to move back to Midwest for an opportunity if I land an on-site job. I have a degree, sales experience as well, but still can’t get any luck with an associate, that’s why I’m trying on-site. Would it be smart to make a move before my lease is up here? Like is the pay pretty good?

I think the catch about an on-site specialist becoming an associate sales rep has to do with getting a degree. After you work a year at Stryker, Stryker will help pay your tuition generously in case you go for an MBA or something like that. Such degrees could help you become an associate sales rep.

Aedan, actually a Master's doesn't make you more qualified than a Bachelors for the Associate Sales Rep Position.
My advice is save the time (something you never get back) and go be an associate right away. You can do it, it just might take more time and be harder)

@@newtomedicaldevicesales after 9 months of experience working as an on-site specialist (trying to become a clinical specialist elsewhere), I came across this video again. Being an onsite specialist in my opinion is only if you want to break into medical device leadership and management, not sales. It's very hierarchical.

@@aedant4041 I've seen seen ppl from customer service and heck, even former military go right into roles at Stryker.
