I love that you are unapologetically competitive!! God help the sales community as we are raising kids that do not know how to compete and are so mentally weak !!!

I’ve noticed a lot of companies ask that you need a bachelors to get into this field, I only have an associates in business administration.

It's ridiculous they require a bachelors degree. I've worked in the medical field since 2012 and have more medical hospital experience but yet none of the big medical device companies will hire or even give me an opportunity. I work with plenty of device reps.

@@jman6890 yea bro it’s ridiculous, you don’t need a degree to do sales. I’ve noticed some companies are starting to require just some sales experience vs the degree alone but still the fact that some companies will require you to have a degree to perform a sales job is hilarious. I know someone with just a high school diploma making 6 figures a year at a car dealership. Medical device sales companies are losing out on top talent because of their dumb bachelor degree requirements. My friend and I built a home service based business, I learned everything from ad keywords, cold calling, low cost effective ways for marketing and etc. my work ethic alone should be enough to qualify for a job like this if I choose to go down this route.

@@jman6890the college degree demonstrates an individual has a capacity to commit to a goal and complete it. Lab rats or nurses often don’t make good medical device reps or even clinical reps. It has nothing to do with experience in healthcare…it has to do with work ethic, attitude, sense of urgency and doing the right thing even when nobody is looking.

@@Bradley1900TRD I'd much rather hire someone with hospital experience vs someone who read a text book and ever stepped foot in a hospital or Healthcare environment.

@@jman6890 if you’re looking to get into industry then understand your hospital experience doesn’t carry as much weight as you appear to be placing on it. I would suggest highlighting other things that make you a candidate worth considering.
