Towards the end of that flight the Kerbils could have been cooking pizza in the front of the aircraft as it's fuselage was getting really hot. Part of the reason the SR-71 front fuselage had fine fuel lines circulating around the cockpit to keep the cockpit from becoming a pizza brick oven. The crew wore a heat reflective flight space suite but the instruments need to be below a certain temperature to stay reliable.
Beautiful design, well done! I see you’re a sucker for bradley whistance as well... Check out mr.overfloater. he made some really impressive crafts waaaaay back when.

I see no curve. Its flat. How much for tickets?
Since it runs on fossil fuels I'm guessing tickets are quite affordable due to tax breaks from Kerbin's President Krumpf.
But its really expensive to cover up the lack of public funding in krumpf's presidency

I wonder how that plane would perform with FAR mod

This seems suspiciously like a shout out to Bradley Whitstance, Bill wouldn't happen to be flying that plane now would he? :P Love the vids Turbo!

You dont fill a prototype with your best and brightest..china lost a whole team of engineers and researchers this way
It was filled with members of the Flat Kerbin Society, so no great loss
I tried making this, I got stumped on making the swingwing mechanism.
Good on you for achieving it!
What a beautiful creation and it even flies well. Impressed that the wing are still on after landing.
Yeah, i had to be painfully accurate to get those wings to work properly.
wow... beautiful

Oh hell yes. Nice design. I will be copying it a bit to do my interstellar ssto.

3 airplanes with swing wings as B-1 / F-14 / F-111 are so great designs
Those 3 Planes are my favourite Military Aircrafts❤❤❤
That is one big F14,
Also... negative ghostrider the pattern is full.
That was a very smooth landing, sir!
Hello Turbo Pumped! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the swing wing mechanism. Thanks!
Impressive craft - swing wings of that size are always impressive, but to take it supersonic is another challenge entirely!
Amazing man, nice to see the plane actually fly, even though it is just a game.
It's a physics game that in vanilla doesn't have joints or anything so I'm still impressed.
There is no curve its just the fish eye lenses that make it look RoUnD
I was sure you're going to clip the tower on the low pass.

Can you recreate a Breaking Ground 2707?
"kerbins newest plane must of couse be able to withstand a typical kerbal landing approach"
me: why must you hurt me in this way
"sweep wings before the plane hits 300 m/s"
2:03 me = sees that the wings are sweeped to normal position in 300 m/s
Also me = *visible confusion*
how do you make wings move like that??
I use landing gears to push them out
comeing into short final at over 200m/s jesus christ is every one in there ok because after the gforces from the stop their gonna be allot shorter
But the 2707 used turbojets, not ramjets. Slap 16 Juno's for historical accuracy
Vectors are designed for supersonic flight, why didn't you use them?

How many attempts did it take to buzz the tower?
You don't keep the afterburners on for the whole flight, dear.
