Good Job. Thank you brother. God bless you. 🙏🏽
Hello Sir, i never seen so clean engine bay of used car. Very nice , its like my computer, also very clean inside :)
Nice wrx I have never seen one in that colour. Sounds great!
It's on custom paint job 😊
Great video & job
Great video
Nice but would be a lot better if you discconect every connectors and spray it inside, then wait to dry and then connect again. Most of the automotive connectors are waterproof, so they have a rubber and the spray will not go inside.
Thanks for the tips! Yes we should remove the connectors if we want to thoroughly clean them.
Thanks for sharing your pointers with our viewers 👍
He just talking SHIT...
Great video thanks bro
Thanks! Hope it helps
Good content! 👍🏼👍🏼
Cool vid
Nice👍
Yes excellent video
Thank you for your kind comments
On the spark plugs or alternator ?
I trust this man with my life
Can we use it rubber?
Wd 40 is a mosture displacement so it may be damaging the plastics on your car after it looks nice
Is it also good for ignition coils
I'm not sure. But I believe it should work since it will dry off completely.
can i use it to clean on aluminum parts there white powder and can i us it to spray on all elec connection wiring plug hatness i liv near the sea salt water ,,i like ur video by the way thank you,
Surely you should clean the connectors since it is a contract cleaner and your connectors are always contaminated with.
However I don't think it's going to help remove those white residue from Aluminium. The white residue is reaction of the Aluminium.
I always use regular wd40, and never had a problem, I just cover the alternator, battery, and try not getting the belts, I just cleaned my engine and looks new with wd40
I believe you're just like me who loves to see a clean engine bay.
Have you guys tried to clean the alternator and battery? If yes, how? What else to avoid?
what does it smell like?
i cannot stand the smell normal bluecan wd40 with oil lubricant
so does this electric contact cleaner smell something like alcohol spray? it doesnt smell like the bluecan wd40 right?
Yes it does smell like alcohol. But it will go away as soon as it evaporates. Very quickly.
Car window rubber liner?
Never it will ruin your tint.
What should we use for Sensors like MAP and O2 sensors?
Anyone here can help answer this question?
For cleaning MAP you should only use MAP cleaner, and O2 sensor you can use carburator cleaner
@@ckcauto8987Is MAF sensor cleaner ok to use as a contact cleaner?
Isn't that going to cost more ?
Do you have experience getting swelling rubber? Some people spray contact cleaner into their car's electrical sockets and then the rubber inside the connector swells and pops out.
I haven't had this problem but maybe it does have some effect on drying up rubbers instead? I'm not sure though. Because they do evaporate very quickly.
Can we use the contact cleaner for the whole engine bay? Same function like engine degreaser?
Yes you can but there is a down side to using contact cleaners to clean the whole engine bay. You see, contact cleaners evaporates really quickly and it is probably good for electrical cleaning because it has no water content in the spray. It is also much more expensive to use as a engine degreaser. I suggest to just buy a cheap degreaser to degrease all the gunks off the engine bay. It is actually much easier too, because the degreaser allows you to take your time to wipe / hose off those dirt and grim off the surfaces. So ya, yes and no. Hope that helps, as far as what I had experience, I would share. Cheers.
What if Wd40 oil first then finish it up with contact cleaner
Hmm . What could be your reason you wanted to use WD40 first?
what year is that car and how many kilometres has it travelled
rachel
Hey :) It's a 2009 model and had more than 170,000 km on it. Crossing my fingers nothing breaks down though.
@@StreetWorksProject watched the video on my iphone
the car looks really clean
love watching car videos here on UA-cam
especially nissan jdm videos from japan
I must be a little OCD ..LOL
If you are living near the salty areas, you should use WD40 spay all the electrical parts in order to prevent the rusty and remove the water as well as moisture, WD40 Contact cleaner just clean up the dust and remove oil, the protect is WD40 oil ! both of products are good for engine.
doesn't the traditional wd40 wear out rubber over time?
It kinda soften it
What different between wd 40 electronic cleaner ?
Contact vs electronic . . .the version / type . . . . . .
Same
I think you get more for your $ with crc electrical contact cleaner
Electrical contact spray on motor? Hmm
Is it not advisable?
Please remove background noise and music as well, it's a utility product video not for entertainment.
It is not possible
@@StreetWorksProjectThe background music is great 👍!
Long term this will fail. Unless dielectric grease is added to boot seals. This will dry out any rubber. This stuff is nasty for the atmosphere.
Thank you for pointing out about the application of an dielectric grease to protect the rubbers boots ! Yes I will agree to your opinion.
@@StreetWorksProject also make sure you use a paper filter and not k&n. The kn will pull in sugar sand. We did oil tests and found metal shaving in oil after switching away from paper. Ended test promptly.
@mjs1231. Your comment is false.
From WD-40 website:
WD-40® Specialist Silicone Lubricant can be used on plastic to help with restoring fading. WD-40® is actually safe to use on metal, rubber, wood and plastic. It can also be applied to some painted metal surfaces without harming the paint.
WD 40 will weaken plastics and rubber my dude. Do not use it like that.
Understand. Thanks
@@StreetWorksProject use silicone instead
