- This Discord server broke me.
One of my viewers reached out to me about this horrible Discord puberty server. Now, I was either walking directly into some poor advice by teenagers or into something a lot more sinister. But this Discord server surprised me, it was even worse than I expected.
Weird Discord users telling stories that I convince myself are fake. Strange behavior from Discord mods. And finally one of the biggest pieces of irony I've seen.

So the server got deleted...
and now people are trying to leech of the popularity of this video by making their own edge-lord supreme Boys puberty centre.
If you aren't aware, when it comes to child safety bans, Discord dishes out collective punishment (aka punishing everyone that is in the server). Allow me to tell a story that hopefully serves as a lesson.
As a grown man that grew up with discord as a young minor, I’ve come across way too many creepy older men. I was in a group when I was about 14-15, and a lot of us in the group were around 13-16. (We had some normal adults)
The group was “supposedly” led by a guy we called Fred. We were originally a Danganronpa RP group, and that’s what we mostly did.
This guy was about 19 at the time, and he developed a very strange relationship with a girl in the group that was 13 at the time. (According to him, he said “I’d make a better boyfriend than (14 yr old boy) to (13 yr old girl)”. So apparently this grown ass man thought he was in romantic competition with KIDS.
He even had a friend (that was in our group btw) we called Al (Or Almazu) that was about 20-21 at the time, dating a 13 year old girl. Fred was always very quick to defend Al for dating a minor.
At the time, I was young and didn’t have the gall to speak up. I didn’t realize how disgusting this whole situation was.
I was invited into another group separate from that one by people in our group, calling out Fred and his friend for being pedos.
Fred and Al did not like this, and weaponized everyone they could in the group against ANYONE in that group. I thought at the time maybe we were in the wrong for criticizing them, they tried manipulating us into thinking a 13 year old dating a 20 year old was normal.
At some point I want to post this story with more detail to spread awareness. But for now, you get the gist.
Oh yea, and one more thing. We should dig a hole, and tell pedophiles to jump in. Eat shit Fred and Al, I hope your pedophilic asses rot in jail.

That's exactly how it happens too. Usually guys are vulnerable at that age because the testosteron is something new and rewarding to them. I remember doing pretty dumb stuff when I was barely a teen, it really wouldn't have taken much to be influenced to do something. Even worse is he'd probably feel justified in how he felt and then the creep would make the excuse that he was asking for it. Sexualization happened more often when I was younger, I noticed it less and less as I got older. There are just too many creeps out there unfortunately

In some countries like Sweden, the highest age rating on media is 15+, and therefore you can watch all media from that age legally without restriction. Now Discord itself operates out of USA, so that's different. But just a thing to show how different the world is.

I don't even think there should be websites of this stuff. If a kid is having an actual problem they should just see a doctor. The other stuff doesn't even need to be taught to children. (Websites outlining puberty and it's side effects are fine though, it's just when they get sexual that it's bad)

You want there to be resources out there for them to learn from, otherwise they either learn from porn, or worse, they experiment alone in unsafe ways. Of course that needs to start with adults in their life given safety talks. Doesn’t matter who, could be a sex Ed class of their parents, but somebody needs to explain to them what sex is, how a period cycle works in relation to how people get pregnant, how birth control works, how to wear a condom, and finally some basics about STIs. You then need a place teens can search questions about it, and no, a doctor isn’t always the correct answer. The second you limit them to only being able to ask doctors you limit information to only kids whose parents are supportive and can afford to see a doctor. + doctors don’t know everything. Misinformation is common in doctors too.
@@babycakelings I feel like it shouldn't be the Internet's job. There should be appropriate sex ed courses in school and kids should be comfortable talking to parents. The Internet has so much worse that kids will typically find searching this stuff (especially knowing how data collection and social media work, it's a very bad combination), it's much better to learn intimate things in a safe environment by the people who care for you. Plus, the doctor thing was only if someone felt they had a medical issue, they shouldn't be searching up online what could be wrong instead of seeing a licensed professional.
My solution to these problems would be to help instruct parents on how to create a safer environment for their child in these conversations so that the parents can monitor the safety of their children in answering any further question. It's much better to let a parent search this information if they don't know than letting the child since parents can filter the harmful information. Letting kids freely explore this content online is what led them into a server like this, so why should that be the solution?
@@Indie_Live Because we live in the real world and in the real world 95% of kids aren’t going to be comfortable asking their parents questions like “is my dick size normal”, “how to masturbate”, “how much cum is normal”, “Is it ever ok for me to send nudes”, “how to safely do anal” ect. Teens are never going to ask their parents those questions. Pre internet kids learnt this stuff from older teen boys, or from the few same aged kids who had access to porn. Obviously it wasn’t good or even true advice, but it was better than nothing to these kids. It’s all well and good to encourage today’s parents to be approachable, but 1: you can encourage it as much as you want, but it’s still not a solution to this current issue Because the truth is this would take decades to be effective. 2: kids still won’t ask.
That’s not to mention that you need to teach kids to research it themselves. They can’t be 18 and learning how to google for the first time. But that’s really another topic.
Obviously discord still isn’t a safe option. But the internet is still a solution. What you need is sites or books written by doctors answering all those common questions around sex in a factual way. Then you give those teens access to the site. And no, Mayo clinics isn’t good enough.

I'm 19 now, but back when I was 13 i sadly got pulled into a server just like this and i can confirm it's just a terrible place for .pdfs to groom kids. i was in the server for longer than i realized at the time, but the thing making me bring it up is the fact some of the people im seeing in this video where also in that old server. it's a shame to see they continue their awful actions and aren't facing jail time, hopefully since you're making a video on it something more can happen to these freaks. These kids most likely don't realize what they're doing or getting themselves into, videos like this give a voice of reason that maybe could help alot of them. Thank you NTTS

I'm 21 and started discord at 13. The amount of shit like that I saw myself. Peds, manipulators, cults, narcissists, creeps, edgy fucking weirdos. Tbh they had an idea, but they’re not the correct ones to execute it. Discord is too predatory & you shouldn’t trust strangers on the internet with very personal shit like that. Which is why it’s best to leave that type of shit off the internet in general. I feel like it COULD work in theory, but Discord just isn’t the place for it. Especially when there’s predators there. And there’s no real way to verify anything so, best to just not try it. Leave it in school.
