I would say its pretty common to have terminally online trans people who also absolutely hate trans people, you are more prone to find people like that online than irl.
Terminally online trans people hate literally everyone and everything that moves and/or makes sound. It's the most hate-filled group of people I've ever interacted with.
It checks out with some of the online people I've met, but it's really rare. What's more common from what I've seen is trans MtF being intolerant of others. Almost always see MtF too
@@translatedbird MtF being more common is probably largely because women being more masculine is for some reason generally seen as more socially acceptable than men being more feminine
Websites like this are the reason why I put heavy emphasis to people on not sharing any info in public servers, you never know if there's someone doing stuff like this. Great video, thank you for spreading the word!! Hopefully the site gets taken down soon.
Yup. For every 1 idiot like this making themselves obvious, there's a dozen others quietly collecting information and probably doing more damage with it
I think a lot of people are overlooking just how targeted this is. Someone is scraping all of the publicly available information about you and allowing people to buy it for literal pennies. Sure, your twitter posts are public, as is anything you post on social media, but those are things you intended for people to scroll through and see. Difference here is that you only wanted that information shared between yourselves and the member of the community you joined, regardless of whether or not it was public.
Right, like somebody who won't or can't join Discord or join the servers you're in shouldn't be able to see your messages. If that was part of Discord's brand then it would be closer to Reddit if anything.
Discord support is ACTUALLY useless. I have two friends that got hacked recently, neither of the hacker accounts got nuked, and none of us have received a response email from discord support
i have a weird explanation for transphobe being trans thing. it could stem from internalized self hatred, brainwashing (for the lack of a better word) transphobia from family and community, envy/ jealousy of others, or just the right mix of some or all of those. its sadly common and can lead to a very fast downward spiral. also its hilarious how many tracks they left uncovered
this is very real, esp in people who are at risk of being recruited into far right circles. I once had a friend who was a trans woman and a TERF, brainwashed into it via their constant involvement in far-right dominated forums and spaces.
or a religious thing, christians actually, does not like lgbt, its well known, especially the radicalist orthodox and they prob dont support harassment, and also other religion like islam, it is known to not like lgbt but it is also not in support of harassment/bullying anyone, and probably the hindu's too.
It would be a shame if someone were to post copyrighted material (for example, the entire Bee Movie script) to Discord which this site would log, and it would be a further shame if the copyright holders were to be informed and issue a DMCA takedown on this site, inconveniencing the site runners (I don't know if the copyright holders of the Bee Movie would care, it's just an example).
The most outrageous thing to me is the fact that this site is not only used for harassment, it is ENDORSED by creator and MADE for it, absolutely awful, i hope they get consequences of their actions

10:56 it sometimes happens that when someone who is transphobic really wants to harrass or even harm a trans person, they will go undercover as a trans person to gather information, or something like that, to harrass or harm trans people. Love watching your videos that explain OSINT in an easy to understand manner. I’ve used some of your videos in class to show how easy it is to be exposed online. Keep it up man!
I love that the people here screaming "its public messages" have no idea about what they are talking. When you post on discord, you do so by accepting Discord ToS. Things you post o discord is actually private in a way that it is between you and the company system, in this case, Discord. They are the ones allowed to broadcast that information and other can use their system to see that information, but if you make your own system to use their system to scrape that data, you are going against the law by gathering info from other people without their consent, because the consent was between them and discord, not you. So, if you think this is ok, do the same and wait for the feds to get to you, because this is probably what is going to happen with this individual.
Except this is completely false? If I take a screenshot of discord messages and send it on a different platform then I'm not suddenly breaking the law for "circumventing the system" or whatever. I aquired public (or sometimes even not public) information through the system and I can brodcast it wherever I want.
Also terms of data processing are not in Terms of Service but in Privacy Policy, which says something completely different than what you did: " *Be aware of the Discord spaces you choose to participate in* You can choose what spaces to participate in and what information you add to our services. You can choose what messages to send or post, who to engage with (e.g., one or more particular users or a potentially unlimited group of users), what information to include in your profile, whether to connect any third party services to your Discord account, and more. For example, if you share content in certain spaces, such as servers listed in Server Discovery or with public invite links, your content may be accessed by anyone. "

There’s a difference between being biased when being a journalist and having opinions within your writing. As NTTS shows, that news article was literally just bare minimum sloppy journalism that didn’t bring anything informational on the topic but rather rely information directly from the source. Having opinions helps because instead of giving nothing of thought, writers can actually give the facts if the material they’re covering quite literally doesn’t do what the source says it does.

I suppose my thing is i cant fathom taking issue with people or to try and dictate to people who they can or cant love or having the time for such things. Most of the time I want to know other people's perspectives, but most of them are trolls on the internet who compare such topic to other things which it shouldn't be compared to (example military, pedophilia, ect.) Yeah I've tried to get people's pov on things but i get a lot of crap from people either, I'm supposed to know things that i don't and thus am deemed working in bad faith, because i don't internet much and i don't keep up on a lot of things, so i get shit for asking questions . Like i can see why some people have an issue with loud minority of lgbt folks that are saying very...bombastic antagonistic stuff, but if someone talks to random lgbt folks, they'll notice generally speaking they're just people doing their thing. they tend to happen to be gay ,lesbian etc (i was typing les but it would always auto correct to less and that i think that would come off very bad ) Yeahh... the whole anti jewish thing is surprisingly widespread. Comparing gay folks to pedophiles is an old thing from like the 80s n such where it was deemed if someone is gay they must also be default a japetto and its a sitgma that stuck to gay folks for a while. That said, many people these days are doing thing that have people saying''maybe they were right'' which is alarming, because the people doing it are largely seen as asshats, but giving people ammunition, they are bound to use it. I'll stop ranting but I've noticed many factors and idk, outside of like japedos and like animal abusers, partner abuse etc, i don't generally think people should have controlled
@@discussioncorner in this case they just laugh at the expense of others. It’s not really deep, they grew up or learned an ideology, then they stick to it, then they laugh at the other “stupid people” who doesn’t know the “truth”. You see this everywhere, politically the right laughing at the left and vice versa, religions and atheists laughing at each other, people with different ideologies laughing at each other, conspiracy theorists being mocked by others, school group wars and bullies, etc etc. It’s a common part of life and the lgbt community, in this case just the t, are of no exception, they’re not a protected species, they’re just humans like everyone else, thus they get mocked for their beliefs like everyone else in the world. Schadenfreude is a terrifying thing, but it’s not something you can get rid of without wiping the earth clean from humans. Unknown in this video, is just a part of the group who takes it a step further and personally goes out of their way to make someone else’s life worse.
Being trans and transphobic is no different than being a (insert marginalized group) conservative, if that comparison helps. Conservative political commentators Blaire White (trans) and Candace Owens (black) are living proof.
I disagree with the statement that the journalist is stupid or dumb for not giving an opinion. Journalists aren't supposed to give opinions (unless it's specifically an opinion piece), but be objective. The fact that this is one of the rare few journalists that stayed objective should be commended! Just because most "journalists" write what can only be described as subjective blogposts, doesn't mean that it should be the norm. Journalists should write objective and factual news pieces and let the reader make their own opinion from it, not provide a opinion that you should adhere to. That being said, the spy.pet guy is an absolute asshole and it is against GDPR to not allow deletion requests.
I'm a journalist, and I appreciate this. The distinction between reportage and editorial has evaporated. I'm not certain whether people by and large remember what these can look like separated.
Can't do anything for private servers. They probably just have a bot sitting in tons of popular discords saving data and all of the messages that get posted. This only affects public servers who give out their invite links.
Because they don't, except when it affects them directly. Same reason so many of the same people would most likely support the leaking of servers or groups they greatly disagree with politically or morally or whatever (applies to all sides btw), and even potentially support the dokxing of users they really don't like (or at least wouldn't criticize or denounce it happening to them)

Very important distinction that the comments seem to be misunderstanding, I agree one hundred percent.
In addition, they asked people to submit links to servers that are meant to be private too.
Except this is completely false?
If I take a screenshot of discord messages and send it on a different platform then I'm not suddenly breaking the law for "circumventing the system" or whatever.
I aquired public (or sometimes even not public) information through the system and I can brodcast it wherever I want.
Also terms of data processing are not in Terms of Service but in Privacy Policy, which says something completely different than what you did:
" *Be aware of the Discord spaces you choose to participate in*
You can choose what spaces to participate in and what information you add to our services. "

I mean I'm rather dense so my initial thought was ''yeah but why do they hate them for being gay'' but as you say, they don't have a sensible reason most of the time.
The only thing i can think of that used to be used was a religious purity thing.
I suppose my thing is i cant fathom taking issue with people or to try and dictate to people who they can or cant love or having the time for such things.

I never understood what was wrong with liking the same gender personally, how is it a crime, why is it "utterly disgusting" in other people's eyes ect. Most of the time I want to know other people's perspectives, but most of them are trolls on the internet who compare such topic to other things which it shouldn't be compared to (example military, pedophilia, ect.) @@briefcat12 Idk to me its weird to get involved in people's personal lives, if they are not doing harm to someone or like animals n stuff. Then i cant be arsed as to what they do.

which fine, if you don't like it or think people shouldn't partake, fine but to target people, like no.
Yeah I've tried to get people's pov on things but i get a lot of crap from people either, I'm supposed to know things that i don't and thus am deemed working in bad faith, because i don't internet much and i don't keep up on a lot of things, so i get shit for asking questions .
Like i can see why some people have an issue with loud minority of lgbt folks that are saying very...bombastic antagonistic stuff, but if someone talks to random lgbt folks, they'll notice generally speaking they're just people doing their thing. they tend to happen to be gay ,lesbian etc (i was typing les but it would always auto correct to less and that i think that would come off very bad )
Yeahh... the whole anti jewish thing is surprisingly widespread.

*WAIT* something such as that really exists?
I find it funny that what this dude is doing catches all the flak, but undoubtedly discord sells their own data
Can't do anything for private servers. They probably just have a bot sitting in tons of popular discords saving data and all of the messages that get posted. This only affects public servers who give out their invite links.
10:55 Internalized transphobia is possible...
average /tttt/ browser
I mean if people actually cared about privacy, I don't think chrome & windows would be the most used browser & operating system...
Because they don't, except when it affects them directly. Same reason so many of the same people would most likely support the leaking of servers or groups they greatly disagree with politically or morally or whatever (applies to all sides btw), and even potentially support the dokxing of users they really don't like (or at least wouldn't criticize or denounce it happening to them)
I think a lot of people care about privacy, they just don't care enough to opt out of basically every service because everything these days intrudes on your privacy. Just having a cell phone is already a big privacy invasion.
LMAOO your video made him add a real opt-out button to his site today instead of the fake "Request Deletion" thing
It actually happened in the MIDST of recording lmfao, also don't email them; unknownsrc the impossible transgender transphobic may get your data if you do that, so don't
I love how you're basically Sherlock Holmes: you're a detective and you have a network of homeless people that help you investigating (i.e. your discord server)
Personally, im careful about what I say publicly, so i dont mind the message logs, BUT you should be following the law and discord TOS. If you really want to search for a message, just use that server. Then trying to make money off of other peoples data is messed up.
