This install will take some time but in the end it was worth it. The LED Light Bar on the front is super bright and I also bought a wireless remote to control it from outside the truck. The full Install took me about 3-4 hours. I do recommend taking your time to make sure everything is level and lines up perfectly. This Rough Country Bull Bar is also very useful to climb on when working under the hood. It is basically a built in ladder.
I recently wired this LED Bull Bar to come on with my High Beam Headlights. I will leave a link to that install below:

Awesome! Looks tough! I ordered me one for my black LT model, thanks the step by step info
Let me know how you like it. I love the look, and if you are interested in hooking the light bar to your high beams, I did a full video on how to get everything connected.
I love the look but not getting rid of the tow hooks.
Thanks man, been thinking about added one to my Chevy.🤙👍🍻
I just did this same install a few weeks ago. I ended up trimming the top part of the plastic to try and get my hand in there. I tried using needle nose to get it in place, but that didnt work very well.
Yes I struggled with needle nose as well! Lol It was very frustrating. Only reason I didn’t trim the top was in case I ever decided I wanted to go back with the tow hooks, but I am sure it would have helped.
Well done brother 👏
Thanks!
Hi, what is the color of the high beam in the connector plug?
Looking good, keep of the good work 💪🏻
I like the bar, but wish these lights were individual so it looks uniform to the rest of the front
I'm in the process of installing it and I can't get my damn hands in ther to get the bolt threw🤬 lol
lol, I remember that frustration. I remember that taking like an hour to be able to position the first one just right to get the bolt through. I think I landed on long needle nose on something, I can’t really remember.
Does a bull bar keep a truck safe
Bull bars are intended to protect the front end. So if you hit a Deer or run into the back of someone it should cut down on damage. It can also just be something you might want for aesthetics.
Even if you turn off the front collision sensors; it’ll still alert (vibrating/beep) you and it’s freaking annoying. Other than that, it looks good
Once I turned mine off, it doesn't beep or alert me, but I don't have the vibrating seat in my truck. I think that's only on the higher models.
I have a 2024 hd 2500 was thinking about adding the bully bar in your opinion was it worth disabling the proximity sensors and parking sensors and whatever else and did u figure out how to disable the vibration in your seat
@mattjanecke9190 I don’t have the vibration seat in my truck, but as far as the sensors, it doesn’t really bother me. I have always had trucks so judging distance for parking just comes natural to me.
ZachAtak Customs , I your opinion is the Bull Bar strong enough to hook a rope/chain to if you got stuck now that you don't have Recovery hooks ?
Honestly, tow hooks mean nothing. All tow hooks are for is easier access to connect to the Frame. If you can connect to the frame you are good to go. This bull bar is steel tubing but I don’t know that I would connect straight to the bar. Because of tow hook removal, it also gets rid of the foam piece that the tow hooks go through. It looks like you would be able to feed a cable/rope through the opening where the bull bar connects to the frame. Connecting to the frame is always your safest bet.
Did you add a lift to your truck or is it stock?
Yea I have the readylift. I have videos on it if you want to check them out.
Good videos I’m waiting for a winch bumper to be made hopefully soon maybe made from aluminum not many accessories for our trail boss
Thanks. Honestly these trucks look great from factory but it’s always fun to put your own touches on your truck. And not everyone will like it but hey, who’s paying the truck note. Lol
So you had to loose your tow hooks, cut the housing and disable the parking sensors. Does not seem worth it to me.
It’s definitely a give and take. Just depends on the look you want. Thanks for watching!
How did you disable the front park assist alarm?
I show you in the video.
what brand is your short little antenna?
Sorry forgot to add a link, I added a link in the description now. I got it from advance auto parts. Here is the link: shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/metra-electronics-4-carbon-fiber-antenna-mast-aaprmcf/12005361-P
How did you get them bolts off
Socket and ratchet
Having to lose the front tow hooks is the dumbest shit ever
Yea I hate that if I was to get stuck or something I wouldn’t have them, but I don’t go off-road as much as I used to. Going muddin as a teenager days have past. Lol
Nah
Bull bar is definitely not for everyone, thanks for the input!
