Hey friends I hope you enjoy todays come thrift with me, I have fun flipping these “tacky” home decor items and making them tasteful. Thanks for watching!
Holy smokes, your thrift store is so much fuller than any of ours. Furniture is a rare commodity here , and there were so many pieces in the one you went to. That baby girl is as cute as can be, and I see you are dressing her in your neutral color style. I think the first flip item would be called an urn.Think the thing you called a glass keeper is a cheese dome. Liked the pot's final look.
Where do you stay? I forgot where Emily lives too, but yes her thrift stores are so good, I saw so many items I would totally have snagged if I was there!! 😍
Honey you have a couple of fails there😂 Reminds me of my dyi attempts lol. You make laugh every time I watch your videos. You always brighten my day and your laughter keeps me laughing. Keep it up 👍
Loved these! You have such beautiful organic style :) also side note, I was laughing at the fruit vase at the end. When you primed it with that tan spray paint, it looked like a bunch of butts 🤣
Vase is an urn. Glass keeper is a cheese keeper (or cloche). Floral vase is a peach vase. You kill me, lol. I think the piece of tapestry fabric would look better matted with the ivory matt you had. 😀
That store was great . I saw a lot of great finds. I like what you found and how you plan to do with them. Your daughter is sooo cute. God’s blessings to y’all.
The third and last are my fave. The second was like “hey I’m tacky fabric. Cut me and put me in a frame so I’m tacky fabric on display” lol. But I love how creative you are.
Do the frame thing with the less treasured but still loved baby blankets/swaddle/clothes/burp wrags, then they become decor for the more big kid bedroom...
You have good stuff at thrift store!! The DIY’s turned out great! My fav is the pottery piece. The urn was cute too! The idea to frame the artwork was very cool. ✌🏼♥️
Momentum 🤣🤣🤣 you meant memento. And as others have said, I believe the glass thing is for cheese (my mom would use one of these for homemade cheese log/ball around the holidays).
Honestly I get super excited when I’m notified you have uploaded. This was so much fun to watch . You have a creative eye taking tacky to fabulously tasteful 🤍 I use paint with plaster of Paris in Australia) ( plaster/ paint mix ) the texture is perfection. You are AMAZING 🤍
Also the wood piece of the glass over is called a close or a cheese round That has a cover is what they're originally made for it's for. Also I really like how your pot turned out great job
That gorgeous rocking chair would have been so beautiful up cycled! I would saw off the top rungs to the headrest and refinish with wood stain :) I love to thrift! It's too much fun!
Great job Emily… I will have to look for an urn at the thrift shop…the vase I love also …. Going to experiment on a tall very tacky ceramic vase I found 👍💛….it’s been a while since your macrame tutorials which were great also… do you ever macrame any more?
Hi Emily! Loved your videos. Thanks for your inspiring DIYs. I always learn something new from you. Your little girl is darling! So cute. One question for you....where did you get the painting that is on the wall behind you? Do you know who the artist is? I adore it and would love to get a copy of it. Thank you so much. Have a good day! Take care. :-) Mercedes
I love how you use what you have on hand instead of being rigid about the materials you use. It makes it seem doable to be creative!
I love, Love,LOVE watching your daughter ~ and how she interacts with you! So So cute!!!💕

It's a cheese keeper, the glass part is called a choche! The first piece you did is an urn, or urn planter
It's a cloche over a cheese board. I like all your thrift flips, keep 'em coming :)

They all look beautiful! I really liked the fabric under the frame, I’m going to try that!
Loved your treasures! For the oven cleaner - next time try the extra strength (yellow can) one! 🙂
The last vase turned out so beautiful!!
The vase is called an Urn and is used in French, italian and other design styles.
Omg the little cloche. So sweet and perfect in your cabinet. I saw one at a garage sale today and passed on it. I'm kicking myself lol.
The urn kinda looks the same...maybe lighter? The cheese platter looks much better, and the "fruit" thingy is unrecognizable! Looks great.
You are saving them from going in a landfill. Love your style
Momentum 🤣🤣🤣 you meant memento. And as others have said, I believe the glass thing is for cheese (my mom would use one of these for homemade cheese log/ball around the holidays).

Good day Emily,on the urn I couldn't tell the difference in the before and after so you might want to do a side by side shot next time
Would you be willing to share your favorite thrift stores in your area? I live in Cleveland and I remember you say you now live in Ohio too!
😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your vase is called an urn :) And the glass domed thing is a cheese dome or closhe :)
Hi Emily! Loved your videos. Thanks for your inspiring DIYs. I always learn something new from you. Your little girl is darling! So cute. Hi Emily your “vase” is a jardiniere it’s pronounced jar dini ere. Posh word for urn 😂 love an upcycle video
Oh thank you! I never knew that.
I just found your channel. Your thrift store had so much furniture. What part of the country are you in? Subscribing.I love Lone Fox too.
Hi and welcome! We are now in Ohio! Surprisingly there is indeed lots of furniture. Thank you for saying hi!
@@EmilyFaith ahhh ok, I’ve been to Hamilton and Cincinnati years ago.
I think the vase would be called an urn, due to it having handles.
Cheese board (glass keeper)
I would call the vase an urn. 🤷♀️
What store did you go to?
Instead of stain, next time use chalk paint wax
Interesting! I'll have to try it out.
Loved 3 out of 4. Sorry but the fabric is a miss.
Urn
I liked your diy except the fabric. That was a fail!
Urn ⚱️ is what we call it
