Absolutely fantastic video. I solved all of my audio issues after watching this in depth tutorial. My audio would skip while using Dolby Atmos in Windows. The Logitech G Hub suite/drivers were causing my issues. I disabled my headphones and now everything plays perfectly. When I want to use my headphones I just simply enable them. This is one of the best presented, clear, logical and comprehensive explanations of audio crackling and stuttering problems and solutions that I have looked at on the Internet over the last four or five months. IT ALSO SOLVED MY PROBLEM - OF STUTTERING WITH ITUNES AND IN PARTICULAR WITH MUSICBEE - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I have been experiencing mild stuttering of audio playback for some time. It started when I switched from an iPod, plugged to a docking station, to iTunes cast by Bluetooth from my mini PC (Celeron processor). I thought it was a Bluetooth issue, but the problem got a lot worse when I decided to ditch iTunes for MusicBee. I looked at all the MusicBee discussion boards and followed the advice on adjusting buffer size, including "load entire file into memory". This improved matters greatly, but every now and then, while working on the computer, there would still be a slight sound distortion. I even went as far as "treating" myself to a new mini computer with a Ryzen 3 processor - a lot fast BUT still with slight audio stutter now and then. It was a this point that I discovered your amazing video on UA-cam. This is the first time that anyone had mentioned possible AUDIO PROBLEMS with ZONEALARM & ADBLOCKER, both of which I use. For me Adblocker was the prime suspect, as my, by now, slight stutter seemed to occur when opening new tabs in Firefox. I deactivated ADblocker - and low and behold - I now have experienced uninterrupted audio playback from MusicBee for 48 hours now. What luxury!!!!! Thank you once again.
For those who have done and followed the whole updating drivers, disabling audio enhancements etc etc and not managed to resolve the issue, check if you have corsair ICUE installed. Reason being, the application might be causing the problem (even if it is not even open and running). ICUE seems to download it's own audio drivers that are active in the background and seem to conflict with both realtek and microsoft's own audio drivers. I'm not a tech wiz, so I don't know how to explain this in technical terms or discover why the issue/conflict seems to happen, but after fully uninstalling ICUE my stuttering, crackling and occasionally lagging audio has vanished. I've tried several reboots of my system to check if this is a proper fix and so far the crackling issue has not resumed.

I think this issue is created from watching Twitch. I don't know why, but when doing other audio activities I never have a problem. But after watching Twitch, the lag is caused shortly thereafter, UA-cam has not been properly tested, but having noticed UA-cam eventually lagging on the laptop after watching Twitch as well (and not doing so currently after being on for weeks) under the same settings, I am convinced something in the HTML5 player used by Twitch conflicts with something. If the Realtek Audio being upgraded is the simple fix, that would make sense. Hopefully most don't have to do the full smash and uninstall-reinstall all sound drivers.

the quyre 7.1 RGB is my new Headset, it works just fine
You mentioned the computer being dusty. All I needed was to blow it with electronic duster and boom. USB adapter worked like a charm all of a sudden.
Nice!
updated all the realtek drivers and had an annoying crack every time i clicked on youtube after watching this i updated the hd audio device and it stopped :-) thx man.
Great! You now know where to find tips that should work!
On my laptop WLAN was the reason for audio glitches and changing latest driver to many years older fixed the issue. Crazy thing that latest driver isn't always the best.

Happy to help!
On my computer zone alarm actually was the problem. But on my laptop none of you tips worked. I'm crying.
I seem to have solved it. I limited the maximum cpu performance in the energy settings (so my laptop would not become so loud). putting it back to 100% seems to solve the issue.
Thank you! Trying it tonight
is this really all the ways? none work for me
You're a life saver dude
Glad it was useful! 😊
Any idea what one can do if their UA-cam video (while watching) and audio get progressively more out of sync the longer they watch? The audio basically plays faster than the video.
Well, this should work, so do it and also update video gpu drivers.
the audio enhancements was breaking up the audio for me, thanks for the help!
Glad it helped!
I watched videos and decided to just shut down and turn on my computer. It actually fixed the problem! Hope this comment can at least help someone out.
I've always hated Apple but I've watched Microsoft pump out pointless updates over and over yet this still hasn't been addressed after checking back a year later and they STILL pretend it's its a "user end configuration issue". I've tried every fix at this point and the only solution at this point is get a different OS. Bluetooth audio connectivity is such a basic thing at this point it's really amazing that they don't care to fix it.

Hi, I have tried fixing in all the ways up to my knowledge, could you please give me tips to fixing the sound because there was a massive windows update and then after, the sound just stopped working
I turned off and unplugged my PC for a few hours. After plugging it back in, so far...no problems (at least now).
Did they ever come back? When I restart my pc it works fine but the problem comes back randomly
@@rwjr2010 I guess it just depends on the computer and the bug. Unplug it for 30 mins and see what happens.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MY BRO YOU'RE A GOD
