depends on what games youre playing, ive got an i5 on my laptop with a pretty slow gpu and ive been able to play games like getting over it with smooth 60 fps (which im guessing is a bit harder to run than league). thing is you need to be fine with reaally screwing over the graphics of the game youre playing. one of the biggest fps boosts i get is when i lower my displays resolution from the windows display settings, going either for 720p or sometimes even lower if im playing a really heavy game. always look for optimizations of any type im sure you can run plenty of games with an i7
also you should look into formatting your pc if you havent done that in around a year or so, it could make all the difference. i would also highly recommend microsoft's windows LTSC version, its specifically made for lower end to mid end hardware with a ton of bloat removed from it. ive been using it for maybe 3 years and im probably never going back to the normal windows editions. hope this helps!

This literaly fixed all my games(v rising,cs2,fortnite,gta5) and now they all run 144-200fps smoothly gtx1660ti , i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz , 16GB ram laptop!
i9-13900k
rtx 4080
128gb ram 6400
ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
mine was turned off
Hi, honestly from the video I didn't understand what I should enable and what I should disable. Could you help me? Thank you
i actually use windows 7 and the commands don't work on it why is the reason?
Fyi: every time i follow all this guide. my pc become randomly error.😂
ive already disabled this setting because for some reason i was getting blue screens from it
Powershell gives me the error "The term "Get' is not recognized..." Any advice?
ok i'm not a pro in this stuff but in my case all of those settings are set to false is there any option you recommend turning on
I have the same I think was set as default for me and nothing happens with my ram or apps(open when gaming) so I just let it be what it is
for me was already at 'false'. i have currently a problem. i have a lenovo pc intel i7 with 8gb RAM, an HDD and graphic card AMD rx 640 (2gb). as you can see my laptop isnt really powerfull. but i have a pb. even on low games i have huge fps drops especially when my pc is charging (better fps but perma fps dropping ). the only game i can play without drop is league of legends..i don't really know what causes that much fps drops if someone can gives advices i can apply actually (not such as buy an ssd or some RAM).
the fact is that i can run many games at 60 fps but in return i have drops like 60 to 0 but when it's on battery i hve low fps but in return no drops (sry for my bad english btw)
I feel like at some point the hardware is just so weak that barely any settings can do much
Time to save up, go side hustling for money, mid tier hardware is quite affordable and WAY better than what you got atm.
@@GeraltOfNvidia i already planned to upgrade my pc..i ,need some tips i can do rn with my config (setting "high performance' in power mode make me drops fps too). but thank for your reply
depends on what games youre playing, ive got an i5 on my laptop with a pretty slow gpu and ive been able to play games like getting over it with smooth 60 fps (which im guessing is a bit harder to run than league). thing is you need to be fine with reaally screwing over the graphics of the game youre playing. one of the biggest fps boosts i get is when i lower my displays resolution from the windows display settings, going either for 720p or sometimes even lower if im playing a really heavy game. always look for optimizations of any type im sure you can run plenty of games with an i7
also you should look into formatting your pc if you havent done that in around a year or so, it could make all the difference.
i would also highly recommend microsoft's windows LTSC version, its specifically made for lower end to mid end hardware with a ton of bloat removed from it. ive been using it for maybe 3 years and im probably never going back to the normal windows editions. hope this helps!
For me „PageCombining“ is also set as False? Should I set this to true?
After I disabled it, and enabled it again, my ApplicationLaunchPrefetching and OperationAPI is still remain False, how can I solve it?
Brother... You have no idea how this helped me. I was giving up watching so many tutorials and none of them solved my problem. I'm not lying when I say I went from horrible stuttering and 70 fps on RE 4 Remake to 110 - 120 fps and NO STUTTERING. And not just that. Battlefield 1 from 75 to 115-130 fps. Fortnite and Apex stable 144fps 😭 thank you so much!!
Edit: Today I opened my usual games and the problem came back. I checked the program thinking that the change wasn't applied, but it was, so I don't know what else to do 😥
Something called memory cleanup search it
My Memory compression, operationAPi and Page combining are all on false meaning that they are disabled.
Any reason I would be getting screen tearing with a 4090? I’ve tried 3 diff monitors.. 1080p 240hz I notice screen tearing, 1440p 144hz screen tearing, and 1080p 144hz screen tearing. Even with G-sync I notice it.. only when I put V-sync and G-sync does the screen tearing disappear.. BUT.. I can’t deal with the input lag. I have a i7 13700k and a 4090.
Change the displayport cable
any new low end computer settings for escape from tarkov?? having hard time getting it to run good =/
in the MMAgent my PageCombining is false why is that ?
is it good or bad ??
what if all of my MMAgent are all false except for MAXoperations API files
pls help
Is there a difference between 256 and 512 maxoperationAPIfiles, What does it do?
This helped everything ty
I tried this and didn't get any performance increases. I have a 12400 with 16gb of 3600 cl 16 ram and a 4th Gen m.2 nvme.... Also have a 6900xt gpu.... I set this back to enabled.
DO NOT DISABLE MEMORY COMPRESSION!
I tried it and no games would play at all
thx for the warning
I would run game mode tbh. Just to be safe
Must have Changed them at some point. How Do I change all back to defaults seen in the video for testing
ApplicationLaunchPrefetching : False
ApplicationPreLaunch : False
MaxOperationAPIFiles : 256
MemoryCompression : False
OperationAPI : False

When I was getting a new laptop and I try and download for CS:GO, it runs perfectly fine. 5 years later of using the laptop, my CS:GO is no longer smooth as it was. I got a lag stutter. My friend told me that I have to change my laptop thermal paste. I will do that. But if it doesn't work either, idk what to do anymore. Any suggestions?
@Panjno Thank you for your guide, I'm trying it now. However, I noticed that PageCombining was disabled by default, should I turn it on?
same here have you tried turning it on?
Same here! @@ClasSiXdAK1nG
@ClasSiXdAK1nG Not yet, I read somewhere that we should be careful with it for some reason. It's beneficial to some types of servers, so I don't know whether it's a good idea to turn it on.
@@MafantiSo did you leave it off or did you eventually turn it on?
"Only ONE setting"
"In this QUICK video"
Looks at video time
8 minutes
-_-
PageCombining is set to False on mine
Would that reduce input lag even on a high end pc?
Hi, im not that good with these things but i remember disabling this MemoryCompression long time ago and now i decided to check if i had it disabled still. I realized that all those other settings are disabled too. Now my question is that should i enable all or just leave them all disabled (false)
I have that to I think and nothing really happens to my apps or get slower I only game and sometimes have a browser open and there is no issues
Uh... I guess I followed one of your previous guides... My memory compression is already disabled. (*Deep sigh*) Attempt to get 'free' performance, attempt #2, has also failed.
Can we get a escape from tarkov update please?
Why you not mentioning that is not worth disabling it on High End systems ?
my pc had this turned off but it still stutters
Did you try to enable it?
decreased the min fps on cp2077 for me
Panjo please help me
When i open warzone the game get crash and close please help me
Does anyone know if I should enable variable refresh rate and adaptive sync in games?
no!!! U should always have set max refresh rate of ur monitor, dont use vsync etc
Absolutely. The smoothness is so worth it.
My guess is…
PvP competitive = no
Single Players = yes
@@inflatablepeas6649 arguably I do better pvp because it’s smoother with freesync. Hands down prefer a consistent and smooth game. Latency is unnoticeable what so ever. I’ve done lots to lower latency in other forms of system optimizations anyways. I say just keep that shi on all the time. Easier that way
Sorry to break the bad news but 99.9% of players arnt playing games to win $100k to buy food.
Does my coast all options as negative have any problems?
