I honestly think the Series 16 line up was the absolute best so far. A superb blend of authentic characters who complement each other & the show, not a single one who got on my nerves! I vote Frankie Boyle as the wittiest of all time!
Frankie’s “I’m not trapped in a loveless marriage” made me laugh for HOURS after I heard it. Kudos to this show for that absolute masterpiece 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The fact that Greg and everyone else on this show can respect and use Mae’s pronouns shows that anyone, of any age can do it and do it naturally, as they’ve practiced using it in their everyday vocabulary. It’s really awesome to see this in a popular show consistently 😁
@@FluffyCrimsonBirkenstocks None of those things, that you mentioned, have any relevance to the point that was made in the original post; unless you’re trying to claim, that remembering simple pronouns- which even a child could grasp, takes as much work/effort, as a fucking television production…but surely that can’t be what you meant by your reply, because that would be so obviously fucking ridiculous, and would make you look like a bit of twat.
Thank the Maker that there will never be an American version of TM. it would ruin it like every other gem from the telly in the UK that gets sent to the US. Man About the House?
I was just thinking... The gender-neutral person... Talking to them is easy in English. In my language the verb changes whether you talk to a man or a woman... Impossible to make the conversation neutral.
@@caroline4323 ah okay. I don't know any Czech but it's interesting to know how pronouns may work differently in other languages. I believe, in France, some people have created a new, gender-neutral pronoun that is a mix of elle and il: iel. I don't know if any other languages have done anything like that and I'm assuming that since you said it would be impossible to make a conversation neutral, there would be no new pronouns in Czech. or at least, no new, common pronouns
@@marzbar479 It´s not about pronouns but verbs. Example: English: Do you like chocolate? Czech (male): Máš rád čokoládu? Czech (female): Máš ráda čokoládu? It does look similar, but the extra "a" makes it clear that I am talking to a woman. The same way when the "a" is missing it is clear I am talking to a man. So you can´t just fix it easily because no matter if it´s future, past, present, conditional etc. all verbs take one or the other gender... And you can´t just rebuild the whole grammar that took all history to get "cooked".

I mean, first and foremost they are a comedian, and the show is about getting comedians together to do tasks. But that's also not what people are saying? On paper this lineup shouldn’t work. In reality it’s an absolute masterpiece
I loved Jenny asking Ivo if he could get a refund from Eaton
I went to see ivo's show at fringe and he referenced that moment!
😊
Eton, even
Jenny had lovely energy, kiell's annoyance was comedy gold, ivos helplessness and frankies transcended narration was great.
Mae brought it down, I really wish someone else was there instead of them.
