Doesn't look like you you even have it in skill tree anymore, however you still have it in your enchantment slot? Can you explain the change? just trying to understand!
Hey man, I just recently found your channel and content. Great stuff man! This is by far my favorite Sorc build to date. I built something similar myself to start the season with tele and fireball enchantment but just couldn't get it to fly like this. One clarification, is it just a straight swap from Flickers to Esu's for bosses with no other changes? Or are their other quick gear changes to help speed up bosses?
Yeah you can just swap to esus for more crit and you could swap enchants to BL and Ice blade enchant. If you really want to get fancy for say duriel you can do burning support and put points in dev blaze. And swap control for flamefeeder. This is all overhandling tho to save 4 seconds besides the enchantment swaps
Appreciate the response man. I will definitely keep a pair of Esu's in my inventory then, and likely swap out the enchants quick. I'll leave the skill tree alone though as that's one step too far for this guy! @@Lurkin17
Thanks for the guide Lurkin, I was very inspired by your normal arc lash 2.0 build and have beed running it with fireball for the last couple of days. I love it. You have lots of improvement here i havn't thought about though in the paragon in this guide. But a question: Would slotting in conjurer glyph, for example instead of destruction bump up the dmg even more? 20% longer conjuration duration should equate to approximately 20% more simultaneously active lightning spears. I'm guessing that would mean about 3-4 more of them, equating to 18-24%[x] mdg while UC:ing.
i am not sold on conjurerer, and believe me I've tried it quite a few times. If you think about it, you would get 60% damage with 10 conj out, and with conjurerer on average youd have 12 out, 20% more. so thats 12% damage. I think destruction beats that. because in my experience I have seen 8-10 conj out is about where she lands
@@Lurkin17 I was also curious about Conjuration Glyph as well, but Destruction is better. At 6 stacks of the passive, the damage gain is 1.72/1.60 = 1.075. I've been experimenting with Overwhelming Current and the yield there is about 1.0913, when swapping to conjuration. It seems that attack speed or the chance of extra shock spells would need to increase significantly for further investment in conjuration time to be worth it. It's sad, as I was ready to buy into the conjuration fantasy. Anyhow, if you had to drop a glyph in favor of Conjuration, which would it be?
What do you think about ditching conceited aspect for the moonrise aspect? Not sure if you've tested this or not, but this seems like a new aspect that gives you attack speed and multiplicative damage on basic attack
I noticed in the vaults you didn’t use the ice blades very often, one of them not at all that I saw and another only once (unless u have instant CD I missed but watched twice haha) would something else slotted there be more useful?
i really only use it once for the 15% tal rasha damage. its very sad I have to slot it there, i would rather have frost nova but unfortunately it does 0 damage
What about using Occulus and use that with fireball and frozenorb enchantements! Since we are full of ult you can use 2 aspects: rapid and gravitacional... the balls keep spawning with u give it a try
What do you think about putting the Andariel's visage in this build please? I know it's a garbage Uber but with the AS and poison nova for Tal, maybe I can use the only Uber unique I got haha

I was thinking of doing this arc lash with the pain gorgers when i got the unique with the new aspect and swap out the Ball light to test. Glad to see someone thinking the same and showcasing it. I notice u use Control but i'd personally use something else as its no good vs bosses. Would you say the affix - regen life when not taken damage be a good fit to replace "resource regen/mana/lucky hit - chance to " slot generally found in Ball light
Considering vaults are the Meta for farming right now and there aren’t bosses besides occasional butcher or malpahs, I slotted control in the 49 spot. I’ll re adjust if gauntlet has serious bosses
would like to make one point of contention: defense with reinforce glyph and charged bolts DR can be done w/o - this build feels all about quick movement -> stun, and since we using tibault+raiment, that extra defense’s not really changing the 2-shot fate if you get stuck somehow (rare) or step on a drifting shade, so might as well go all offense.
Not sure about this (not saying your wrong). With Shaco, you can stack some major DR which does help for random one shots. With your pet/electruction talent, you have like 50% DR which is rather significant considering your melee. And the way the game calculates DR is prior to Armor/resist. So it does make you beefy which is more comfy. I have shaco and I feel the difference. That being said, if you dont have Shaco I 100% agree... go full glass cannon and risk it for the biscuit.
I agree that have DR comes with its advantages. Preferences at the end of the day. In my tests, I ran 30 T100 NMV in a row, and only died once or twice - and when I die, it’s almost exclusively cuz Butcher / Malphas Son, for those, you’ll probably NEED to drop the Tibault (at least Raiment) to be able to kill w/o spending half an hour kiting. So my conclusion out of that is just go full offense cuz it doesn’t make a difference - that extra DR only buys me 1 more hit when cornered, and with this infinite teleport, its nearly impossible to get cornered (Butcher excepted cuz he appears when you need to pick up a keystone, you are dead for sure).
If you could inform me what glyph you could take to match the value of reinforced in a build without burning let me know. Tactician doesn’t work. We can’t use unleashed. There is literally no other multi we can take and reinforced > territorial because of the non physical boost. Territorial isn’t worth being worse for 50 damage to close when we get 22.5 non phys and all resist from reinforced. Charged bolt DR and Reinforced are basically free to take. You have flex skill points and a flex glyph
@@jacobw.3110I actually killed a butcher in 30 seconds with the Uber version I just wasn’t recording. I proceeded to get annihilated by son of malphas in a non Uber run. Butcher is doable. Malphas idk I just accept the death. There’s really no glyph to increase damage anymore that’s worth it, and no skill points that can go anywhere to increase damage. Tactician is bugged. If you figure it out let me know 🤣
Build looks great playing an Arc lash/Lightning spear build atm but i think i will test your build out i wish there was some sort of armory chamber in d4 to compare the builds easier.
Please correct me if I am assuming wrong here, but it looks like a nice take on the 'original' version of this that was meant for pure speeds and skipping as much as possible, and you have added tankyness to make this a real farming/kill build (and having to sacrifice a bit of speed I am sure, but for generic farming, the survivability is better). Do you think this is a much more pleasant/QOL variant of the standard balls-to-the-walls build that just aims for speed over everything else?
so speed is fireball teleport enchant for sure. Idk Mobalytics is getting a variant tab soon so I can actually have variants. because right now, there is just so many ways to run or spec a build
i compared arc vs BL extensively with the infinite teleport setup, can confirm arc is 1. much safer (cuz the extra stuns), 2. much more braindead (cuz no resource management when running w/o good gear).
@@Lurkin17starless is huge yea. main thing i like arc variant over BL is the resource - for that i had to compromise a lot - on construct permanent resource support, on gear (bar perfect stats and rolls) gotta have them mana reduction and resource regen on, which is quite an extra to go thru considering none of the troubles exist in arc. for 4 man, i rota-ed duriel quite a bit, and did NMV too. don’t feel like a huge difference - arc kinda hits more tbh.
Fireball enchant is nothing new. I tested it in the early phases of arc lash but I opted for firebolt enchant in earlier versions because of boss damage. Now that gauntlet is looking like a mob clearing fest it came back on the table. Rob makes good builds don’t get me wrong. But nothing sorc related has ever been pioneering. If you want the real pioneers you look to arccrueid or Mekuna
No its not. And on top of that, Rob steals builds from smaller content creators all the time and claims they are his own. Fireball enchant has always been a staple for sorc build. Other "real" content creators experiement with other builds.

you could certainly run visage over shako. 15% damage and gaurantees the attack speed breakpoint at 157

one last point to add: since we infinite teleporting, we’ll always have a barrier on, and that in my experience is the most meaningful defense.

I think so but I don’t think it’s very efficient. I got my paingorgers from there but it was a low roll. You’re better off target farming from bosses
pain gorgers can drop anywhere, but beast in ice is the spot. its kind of hard to get though

Yes I noted in the description I swapped 2 boards placement due to a willpower req turning off when swapping to esus boots during bossing

My version on mobalytics has esus. But this speed farm version can’t run esus except for bosses because the whole loop is booping around
