Hey, Wade, thanks very much! I used to have meetings for all the managers who worked for me, 38, they were bosses. I’ll keep trying to make helpful videos… thanks for the comment 👍🏻
They can be changed… firing them to work elsewhere does the trick.
What about using the point system??
That can be great! The key is to be consistent and communicate with the employee every step of the way!
I like that, I’m trying not to be that manager that tends to go straight to write ups. I’m know I’m a nice kind type guy, so I tend to go massive on my discipline because I feel like employees trying to get over and try me and think I’m weak because I ask how you doing, I smile and show empathy.. any advice ? I don’t want to seem like a push over
I'm glad to hear you are thinking about it! I always ask why first. I find that if we are consistent it makes people respect us. Here is the rule, you broke the rule.... why? Here is the consequence for you breaking the rule.... here is the help I am giving you to help you follow the rule better. Is that fair? Keep your emotions is check, do what you say you are going to do. It is not easy to be the leader.... if it was, everyone would be the leader! Good luck!

I guess it went over your head that he was being funny using word play. If you had paid close attention you would have noticed that once he took a serious tone he did say, “they don’t say anything.” Don’t be that person. 😂
