Such a fun chat, and what an amazing list. Only 2 of my trees made the list lol. Thank you for the great video. Hope to see you guys in the next podcast 👍
Incredible overview of amazing maples 2022! I will always remember this year as the year of the Japanese Maple🎉and a little goose giggle was the perfect ending😁
I enjoy all of what you do there at Mr Maple now you stole my heart with your blues intro. Love me some blues. Hey it's been fun to see other youtubers like Maple Nutz at your open house! And I can't tell you how many vids I've seen of people opening boxes of trees from you. You are gathering a big tribe! Myself I find it staggering to see your greenhouses and imagine the size of your whole big production. It's truly amazing what you are accomplishing.
So happy to watch this episode🔥I was surprised how the top 25 for 2022 played out! But an awesome top 25 it was👌🏻. Thank you Mr.maple for everything you do🐐 #japanesemaples❤️🍁🔥.
Really good show gentleman, Thank you! I’d like to know which states buy the most trees and if there’s a favorite in certain states. Japanese maples and otherwise🤓
I’ve been loving JM for about 9 years, have grown about 50 trees from seed. My little granddaughter (when she was younger, was able to point them out when we would go on drives to the “rich” (granite bay) areas or east sacramento, her vocabulary was still developing and would be so cute, she couldn’t pronounce them at first and called them “japanese nipples” to this day we always bust up at that and actually still call them japanese nipples i can’t wait til i can afford to spend about $500 on a few of my favorites thank you guys, the little granddaughter Jaida dads military and they live right there in your state north carolina Gram misses you baby Jaida. Im glad I was able to nfluence her to also love and appreciate Japanese nipples
Its funny my Mother put a Bloodgood in the front yard of my house and i fell in love with it now im putting in four more Mr Maple trees First Ghost Dancing Ghost FireFly and Geisha Gone Wild and Orange Dream in my back yard where I’m starting next 🤣
I like that few of my trees are in the list! Surprised and happy that Fireglow is on the 2nd . So glad I got a new Mikawa Yatsubusa. I would love to have turkeyma😂
I need some advice, I live in a rental duplex single story. I love the orangeola colors, but I need an upright along the same color scheme. 10' to 14' tall. I want to get a pair of the same Japanese maple but I'm gonna have to pot them as they will have to be able to be transported if I move elsewhere. Suggestions?
Where can I find these “heat seeker’s” you are talking about? Is that some sort of list on your website for us southern folks down here in zone 9?? I live in Louisiana and I haven’t had any luck with Japanese Maples😢
Excuse me for insisting, but I don't understand why you don't send out of the US, here in Europe there aren't any (or at least I can't find certain species) and in a global society I can't find an explanation for not sending out, here in Spain, Around this time, thousands of containers imported from Japan, BONsais, pots, fertilizers, etc., always arrive. so I don't understand the problem of not sending it outside the US, now the truth is that I haven't asked if you have any European nursery where you do have your maples, and if so, I would appreciate it if you could tell me Regards and keep it up, I don't miss any program that you do, although I have to watch it later so that UA-cam translates it to Spanish for me (I'm sorry but I don't speak English) I repeat, keep it up guys, it's a real delight to watch your programs Greetings and I wish you a happy new year. (Sorry if something doesn't fit you, but I translated it into English with Google hehe)
I’m watching this with my son, who is two days old, and hopefully he loves trees and maples like I do
Awesome! Start then young!
💯
Hopefully mate

Good question!
I own an incredible looking autumn full moon. I can't wait to see next year's growth.
Love the Bluesy Music intro. I can picture myself in some “speak-easy” saloon Bar helping myself to a few shots of JD!
Rock on! Played by our very on Sean Bubs Richardson here at MrMaple

Fantastic!!! Should be an amazing list I’m sure.
I hope so!
Great show fellas,...... What would you consider "A STATEMENT" TREE for a front yard ❓
Mikawa yatsabusa
Q: All production numbers being equal, what rare or new selections would sell out fastest? Top 3?
Likely our one introductions or Mikawa family intros
Very interesting what has made it to the UK where I live and what has not!

Same here!
My daughter bought a "bloodgood" at a big box store and most certainly is not! We think it may be Washi o no...Eagles Tail. So far it's my favorite.
Japanese Maples in hanging baskets?? I’m interested!!!
That was a great video and a good list of trees. #japanesemaples
Thank you very much!

Final growth of 10 to 14 ft., not initially lol
Ryusen is a fun one that looks great in a pot and it grows as tall as you stake it. Fireglow comes to mind to fit your size range
