Thanks as usual. Your tip to place sod on one side of the trench and soil on the other will be remembered. Again I learn so much from your problem solving discussion
Dianne, Thanks for the making the time to leave these nice comments. They are appreciated and helpful. If you have any requests for videos, let me know in a fresh comment. I have a long list to work through but I always welcome input for videos that I put on the front burner.
The rule of thumb for MP Rotators is 20 mins. minimum. The frequency is dependent on a number of factors including soil type, runoff, etc. but rule of thumb during 70deg weather is 2 -3 days/wk, then add another day for each 10deg increase of heat.
I don't recommend MP Rotators on well water unless you have good filtration before the heads as they WILL clog. Your 45 PSI at the faucet isn't going to be sufficient for the MP's as they need an OPERATING pressure of at least 40 PSI. If you're interested in paying for a design that can work with your parameters, then send me an email and we can go from there. Otherwise if you get local help be SURE they know how to ask the right questions and that they know how to do the math to be sure this is going to work for you so you don't waste your money. Good luck.
shoot me an email if you can find it. I avoid posting it on YT. In the meantime consider drawing a quick sketch of the lawn area you want to irrigate (complete with dimensions and a photo or 2) and email that to me.
Those brass fairway pop-ups are awful. Before I renovated my yard I had to remove a bunch of them, most were rusted out on the threads and had to cut them out and re-pipe. From what I can tell, I've got 3/4" from my valves then `daisy chained to 1/2" but I've made it work with low flow nozzles. Those are some awkward angles but you did about the best you can do concerning proper coverage. Throw some grass seed down and up the watering cycle a couple weeks and that yard should be in good shape again.

Mike, Thanks 👍
Great work brother and content. Pro status!
Thank you.
What’s the runtime for this station? How do you adjust that runtime throughout the year?
What’s the run time for these sprinklers? How do you come up and adjust the runtimes throughout the year?

I have a 110x70 backyard with only 7gpm at 40 psi. Any suggestions? On mp rotators? Or a different type
where did you gather your 40 PSI measurement? Are you on municipal water?
@@SprinklerPros took the 45 psi measurement off a faucet off main line. Well water here in the texas panhandle

I hear ya. They have dogs so grass seed wouldn't stand a chance, but good idea.
