Great trolling motor and for the price you can't beat it. It's saltwater approved/rated but I have not tested it yet. Does great so far in lakes and rivers
Absolutely 👍👍
Nice. If you want another one or two or more. Head down to Dover coastline. They are free for the taking everyday just abandoned on the beach. With motors and fuel cans too. Every day.
Cool, thanks 👍👍
I used to have an Avon boat that size with a 3 HP gas motor. I had a job in Yuma AZ at the time and rented a farmhouse 1/2 mile from the Colorado river. Loads of fun.
Sounds amazing i bet you had some great fun 👍👍
Have my eye on for while hoping pull the trigger on one very soon reckon it’s must have for the lake fishing. 🎣 great review thanks.
👍👍
I am happy for having such a great part to go with your kit
Cheers Tressa, great purchase cant wait for the summer 👍👍
I see the Golden and I know they took a ride also.
Might be looking into this here in USA.
Like your videos alot.
perfect combo !!!!! should make fishing from that boat alot easier
Fin-na-ly a video with the electric motor actually in use. Cheers mate!
No problem 👍👍
Great looking boat! Now your ready for another float trip.
Haaaa. I loved the curious swan.
Very handy unit. I use a canoe which I my area is good when portages are needed. That is nice where you get longer sections of water. Nice and stable for fishing. Atb Paul
How to get insurance on a inflatable boat
Thats how i would like to spend my Sunday afternoons, can see the quality looks tough
IIii
Thats a fantastic little boat, so quite better than a petrol outboard 👍
Absolutely 👍👍
Great video. Do you need some sort of license or permit to use this setup on UK rivers?
I use a British canoe license, which covers most rivers 👍👍
What an awesome boat & motor....Man That is Kool.....Iam sure you no but you could put a gas motor on that boat...That boat would have some speed behind it....Absolutely would love to own one.....Good luck ......T.Gunz..........
Cheers T.Gunz 👍👍
Interesting to see other outdoor equipment that could be useful. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
A really detailed and interesting video thank you Mr Bushwacker Man :)
Very welcome 👍👍
Could that be connected to a jackery power pack with the pull solar panel ? Also how much does the whole rig weigh ? And also any suggestions for water proofing those electrics? Looks like a nice bit of kit....Have you more information on the derailed specs ?
Yes via the cigarette port. With the 12volt motor around 65 kilos 👍👍Duck tape is an option 👍👍
Interested also with a ecoflow delta 2.
Thanks
Can you tell me where you got the battery from and how to charge for how long ,buying thr boat today 👍
I bought the 110 amp hour leisure battery from a camping store, it charges in about 6 hours 👍 👍
Got my boat, battery next have you managed to charge it with you anker solar panel, if so how was it, looking to pick one up 👍
Nice review... you're ready for the high seas now.... lol. Those electric motors are so quiet, and you'll get a good run out of it kept on 'low' speed ... save a lot of rowing. lol I find it's best to row on the way to where you're going, saving the motor for the return trip home (in case of emergency, you'll have the battery power left and a quick way back). Glenn.
Good tip cheers 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan Have you thought about a small solar panel for the battery?
Yes that's one item on my ever growing list👍
WAY COOL!!! Looks like so much fun!
You have defo made it in life...👍👍👍
Cool - i just bought a similar boat and 65lb motor - yet to use it. I didnt realise you dont have to have the keel inflated. Re pumping up the tubes and floor do you just go by feel or measure the pressure. My battery is very heavy 30kg so i guess the floor needs to be very firm - cheers
Have fun great piece of kit 👍👍
noe ntelie ekrcc yahts
So i have 12v adapters for the battery and i run 2 electric air pumps. It's so fast. And it's cool because you can also use them to suck the air out.
Great idea 👍👍
Nice video....if you take hands off tiller, does boat goes straight?
Yes it tracks true, if you load it even 👍👍
hello mate, what do you think of the Fox electric motor after 5 years of use?
thanks
I have now sold the boat to pay for other projects 👍👍
Where did you purchase the boat ? All the latest models look cheap and got all that horrible orange fox badge stuff going on . Cheers
bit.ly/3a1XH7J 👍
Hi, nice setup. BTW how much did it cost you the battery?. And how fast can you go with this motor, can you reach the same speed as with a 2.5hp gas motor?
The whole setup was a 1000 pounds, the battery was 100 pounds.Im not sure on your other question 👍👍
I have a Quicksilver 300 10 ft any way a tip for you can get 32mm rail mount rod holders that will fit your ours that's what I use stainless steel just a tip.stay cool cheers
Thanks for the tip 👍👍
Nice boat mate I have the intex mariner 3. What model is that motor, I've been looking at the minn kota motors. All the best. chris
The motor is a Fox 65 👍👍
Cheers buddy I'll look into them. Chris

I caught a couple of pound striped bass on this lure the first time I used it.
Cool 👍👍
Hello, good boat. I have a dog, do you think his nails can damage the boat?
No i have a golden retriever who sits in it 👍👍
You can also make a little transom so you can fit that engine to your canoe as well
I like it alot because it's Much more environmentally friendly than a petrol motor. I don't know anything about boats, but I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective way to cross my channel. The man in the marine office recommend a blow up dingy with a motor, so I'm guessing that's the same type of model as what your using? the reason he said I need a motor is because there is a risk of getting pulled away by the current with just using the oars alone without that extra push, but does that mean you don't use the oars at all?
If you are going in the sea you will need a petrol engine 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan Well it's a channel crossing but no heavy waves. I think an electric motor on full throttle will do the job :)
Hi there, is it classed as powered boat and you have to pay the fee for that category length. Or is the some dispensation like cars because its electric. Cheers.
@Talha Siddiqui Depends on where you boat. Here in CT, in the US you need to register it, whether it's a gas or electric motor.
@@dannyrusso8279 Same in Wisconsin.
Have you tried using Two Trolling Motors together ? I am thinking of trying that since I use my boat at the sea..
Sounds like a plan 👍👍
Yup put on some good ol country toe tappin tunes and pump up the jams
👍👍
I'm very interested in buying a similar setup (boat and engine). Can you please tell me what are the legal requirements?
I only use a canoe license 👍👍
Hi . Inflating the keel will get you much better direction tracking
👍👍
How much does the boat cost
Around £900 👍👍
How much is the boat and the motor you put on it ? Where can I get one ?
The boat was £900 motor was £200.You can buy from Tackle UK 👍👍 good luck
Nice raft dude :) what trousers are you wearing in this please
Cheers mate, the trousers are made by Fortis 👍👍
nice one dude :)
hey there, are you able to attach a gas motor to this?
It shouldn't be a problem 👍👍
Great upload and looking for electric outboard for small rib
Good luck! 👍👍
How much was everything, the boat, trolling motor and trolling mount?
Around 900 pounds 👍👍
How many people use this boat? For one person taking short, two/three-day trips, a smaller - i.e., lighter - boat would be a better deal.
Two people and a dog 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan, a dog needs loads of room. :)
I understand PVC is not good for hot weather. The fabric boats are a lot more expensive but great for hot states and last much longer. They cost a few thousands instead of hundreds of dollars.
Thanks for the tips! 👍👍
What a boatiful day
Cool boat! How long does it take you to inflate it like this?
about 10 minutes👍
@@BushwackerMan where do u buy this at?

What model of the motor you have?
Great, what license do you need for that boat and motor.
I have a UK canoe license 👍👍
Do you need a license or permit to use it on the internal waterways rivers streams canals lakes
not much use if its not allowed or is restricted
I have a British canoe license 👍👍
Nice boat for fishing and bird watching.
It sure is
I have the 68lb bison version. Amazing motors and get way more than enough charge on my 105ah
Sounds great 👍👍
How long exactly will it run for on that battary
@@chriscrowder3844 I have swapped that big heavy battery for a lithium 105ah one now so a lot longer. Impossible to say depends what speed you have it on. But I can go more than a week or using it daily now compared to the 2 days on the old lead one before it needed recharging again.
@@andysutils I've bought the short 66cm shaft version do you reckon it will be to short on the back of a dingy like yours
@@chriscrowder3844 depends. I only got the long shaft because mine is a fiberglass tender.
Is it a lithium or calcium battery?I can’t seem to find lithium leisure battery online
Its a lithium leisure battery 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan thanks,I eventually found them,I don’t know why but it kept bringing up the calcium batteries first.bloody expensive those lithium ones lol.
Hi - since your video, how have you found the 110ah battery with the 65lb motor? I'm thinking about a similar setup. I'd probably get an electric pump though!
Great setup really pleased, battery very good on a low setting from the motor 👍👍
What a great boat. Motor is superb.like to see you load it up with your outdoor camping gear on an overnight camp. Great video thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Cheers mate will do that 👍👍
Bushwacker Man plus Family and Buster complete with life jacket of course 👍🏻😂🐶
Are 38 lbs trolling motors enough thrust for a dinghy that size ? I bought one but I'm not sure if my motor is too small or should I get a 55lbs
Depending your purpose of use, 38lbs should be fine 👍👍
Best for Jason Statham movies 👍😁
How many km milege you will get with full charge
On half throttle around 8 miles 👍👍
Where can I find that boat and that motor😮
Fox website 👍👍
Wot an awesome boat dream toy
Hey mate! I am looking on getting a electric motor for my boat, any licence needed or anything?
Depending on the river or lake you might need a river permit. I have a British canoe license which covers you on most waters 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan great video really interested in getting one . does this canoe license cover you for this sort of boat ?
@@bartekkoch Most waters are ok, some dont like the outboard motor 👍👍
i like the way inflatable rafts smell..
I think they smell good too
I wanna buy this whole set how much would it cost for all and where can i get
The whole setup was around 900 pounds. You can buy from any Fox dealer 👍👍
how is the airdeck? I am looking at a boat with airdeck and concerned about stability band standing
Its awesome! Really stable and bullet proof. It doesn't puncture

Do you need any licenses for a dinghy on the river/canal?
I have a British canoe license 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan and that covers you against a dinghy? Been looking online and the informations really confusing
Awesome l wish l had one just like your's
Where can you order this in the USA?
Great video. Thank you
Great video, thinking of getting something like this 👍
Go for it! 👍👍
HI
i have been looking at buying a inflatable ,,my question is do i require a licence to go on the water in uk canals and rivers

I found that electric motor on your boat to be quite shocking.............sorry 😐 Very cool setup. I hope no one on the river gives you any static about it..................sorry 😐
How far can you get on one full battery with a fully loaded craft?
I would guess at around 12 miles on a low setting, fully loaded 👍👍
How long does the battery last
Around 15 miles depending on conditions 👍👍
Does it come with bag to pack down does it fit in a boot
Yes it has a wrap bag 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan nice 1 lad tight lines be lucky
What licences do you need to use it on the Canal ???
I have a British boating license👍👍
A 100Ah battery will get you further than 12 miles..I have a scooter that uses 75Ah batteries and I get around 25 miles at a steady 8mph on a full charge..This thing weighs 149KG,s minus the two 12 volt 75Ah batteries on top.. That outboard will draw little current in comparison Bushwhacker.. Next time take it for a longer run to deplete it, you will know for sure its maximum distance...Looks great that though,. a neat bit of kit..
Cheers mate, i will have to put the motor to the test 👍👍
Depends on battery life. If it’s been depleted past 12.2v which is around 40-50% capacity it will affect its ability to hold charge. Keep it charged up
thats long rabge
That little boat looks like great fun. I checked the Licence cost for operating one of these on our local canal and was a bit shocked to see they want £440 for a 12 month ticket... guess that's why I never see any small boats on the canal.
👍👍
440 dooares day git a fukib big as yaght
Just looking into this myself and there’s a British Canoeing licence for £45 that covers 4500km of canals. Might be worth looking at.
Great video. enjoyed it.
Thanks 👍👍
Hey guy. Nice boat! I'd personally beef up that transom and throw a mercury 250 pro xs on there and hang on for dear life!!! Lol! How is Becky doing? I've been messaging her for a while and haven't heard back. I hope she's ok.
Sounds good! Becky is fine i will tell her to message you 👍👍
65 lb thruster eh? I have a 30 on my raft of similar size. I hear you cant get any faster though, even if you hooked up 3 65lb, you would still go the same speed as a 30lb. I dont get it.
All depending on weight and current of flow 👍👍
If you Google something called "hull speed" it will tell you.

No i think its a British company 👍👍

Nice! Can you go in the sea with it?
Yes you can!
Flat bottom boats don,t do well if there is a swell, not very stable.
That setup is bitchin!!
Does the inflatable floor come with the boat??
