I was pretty disappointed with this ending ngl. In Hellblade 1 I was marching into Hel, cutting down everything in my way to get to Hela, demanding my bf's soul be freed, and being forced to accept it was impossible by giving up. In Hellblade 2, I was smacking around a balding old man with a neckbeard that I met 5 minutes ago.
If you like this game I highly recommend both What Remains of Edith Finch and also Pentiment! Both are very emotional well written stories with great endings, Pentiment is a lot like a play, like this game was.

I thought she was going to Iceland to stop the norse. not just have another bad trip in her mind and not do anything and the end the game is "surprise, you didnt do anything its all in your head!" was a another massive let down. don't get me wrong its pretty and the story was cool up till i figured out what was going on and it was a copy of the first game in that its all not happening. I just wanted a game where you go to iceland and fight the norse as a pict and maybe run into some the creatures that live there. Like in the first game I thought you fought Hel to get your lover's soul back but no she just has a meltdown when she finds her dead lover and the rest is all not real, she is just freaking out and its all in her mind... fun for one play through but once you know the gimmick the game really really blows.

And senua did not wanted to kill this final guy because she understood that vengeance means no good, only curses the soul and rottens it? At this point i think that the three of them were hearing the same voices that senua hears
Everyone is inside Senua's mind, the three companions, the giants and even this guy. I believe this is the way Senua's mind found to make it clear to herself that she is not gonna become her father and that her mother was not a bad person at all

Is it just me or is does the game just looks too cinematic? I mean, it looks good but it looked like it needs more effort in the gameplay. It feels more like watching a movie than playing an action game.
It doesnt need more effort in the gameplay because its how some games are now, they put the effort in the cinematic/story part rather than the gameplay. Like an adventure you can interact with.
The first one felt like a game. This one felt like a movie you happened to be in control of. The combat, puzzles, and story were all watered down for the sake of cinematics.
If you couldn’t follow a story like this but can follow Dark Souls of all things, that just tells me you intentionally didn’t pay attention at all. Don’t blame the game for your clear lack of care…

The characters do not look like they are metahumans they look as if they are player models created by the engine of the ninja theory company and then imported to ue5 because i believe that metahumans are more realistic than this these ones in the video do not look realistic at all however the enviroment looks pretty realistic and near cinematic-graphics quality

The ''schizo'' voices are not even needed at all, they are actually annoying in fact. Popping up with useless lines during dialogue. I wouldn't last 8 hours of a whole playthrough with them.
They are necessary. They help you see how Senua is feeling each moment. They also reflect emotions of her. Her fears, her feelings, they get verbalised by the voices

I recently bought an Xbox x and and just finished this game,i don't know about you but its the first time i enjoyed a game's story so much.
