Louisville was right there. Both them and Seattle had tough times converting their penalty kicks. And man Omaha was there only for that sneaky goal to get in before 2nd half of extras went into stoppage
Now I’m questioning 3 matchups. New Mexico has to travel to New York City to face NYCFC II, Loudoun to LA from Virginia to face Chivas, and even Dallas to Tampa (although Dallas and Tampa seem to be closer than Albuquerque & NYC and LA & Leesburg respectively). I thought it was suppose to be regional based. Loudoun United should be facing NYCFC II since they’re on the same side of the country and New Mexico face either LA since they’re closer as well
The draw set up the matchups already, not every single round matchup is regional based, especially with the MLS throwing the monkey wrench in there this year and only sending 8 teams.. Basically, the winner of NYCFCII and COS was predetermined to face the winner of NMU an RSL. And the same with all the other matchups you mentioned, it was set that way from the round 5 draw. After these round of 16 matchups there will be another draw to determine the matchups. Also what do you mean by Chivas? They're not in this tournament lol they're in LigaMX

If my quakes don’t win it, I definitely want a USL team to win it 😅
