From 1950 it took 50 years for the UK population to grow 6 million and we were super prosperous. Its now grown another ten million in the last 15 years and thats still not enough?. We have more than accommodated any replacement growth and this all about GDP for the Elites that don't even live here. It's NOT for our well being.

Public services would receive significantly more funding per capita because of higher wages, housing wouldn't be quite so expensive, crime rates would be lower, etc

The reason they're coming to study in such large numbers is because the UK university sector now relies heavily on international students in order to survive due to low government funding. So of course they want as many international students as they can get
It isnt a problem, they are here to work (as we have a labor shortage) and those who are here to study actually help subsidise the university system for British students as they have to pay higher fees. Immigration isnt a problem it is a solution. We need to stop falsely blaming immigrants for our problems and actually solve our problems.
