Hey Shroom, I am a huge fan of your content and love watching your videos. I caught my first eve4 fish in a lure yesterday which was a fatty. I just wanted to say that you inspired me to take on the challenge of fishing on lures.

Buy a small bag of chook pellets and a bottle of tuna oil. Pour some tuna oil on the chook pellets and let it soak in. Throw some of this in before you start fishing. It's called burley and attracts the fish. On the beach I've caught Bream full of my burley. I've attracted Tailor and Flathead. Cooked rice soaked in Tuna oil is also great.
Love watching you fish. wish i could go out when I want to which ill be able to do soon since school ends on Friday. can't wait for the next. one keep it up

Structure and light gear, always fun keeping the fish out of the snags. Some nice fish from a beautiful looking system 👍 Seems it needed a bit of persistence, but it definitely looked like a warm day, we all know that can make a big difference. Fishing the shade definitely paid off 🎣

Hey mate those grub’s are great salt or fresh! There’s not much that won’t eat them! Ever used Charlie brewer sliders? They are Another killer piece of rubber! I’ve been carrying around a heap of them for ages! The Yellow with black tails has been smashing it lately!
Yep that's right, I find grubs to be one of the most fail-safe lures especially in shallower waters. I acutally haven't, I didn't realise they ahve been around for that long!

They are also completely Deadly up in qld impoundments too! for big perch and bass rigged on a resin head and fished top water, another thing I’d recommend is starlos resin heads they are sweet for slow working and suspending bait’s!

Yes, I think it’s a decent spot. Doesn’t mean that other spots won’t be as good or better, though most of the harbour wharves east of Gladesville produce squid.

Plastics need a pause and twitch to work. I saw a flathead following my plastic but not taking it. I stopped the plastic and the flatty stopped too. I twitched the plastic slightly and he attacked. From the jetty I watched it all.

I would use it as a lighter setup for throwing stuff like lightweight grubz and was wondering if i should get the 2500/662LFS or the 2500/702MLFS because i prefer the 7” but was wondering if it would still throw the lightweight jigs well as it is a ML rod unlike the 6”6 which is a L rod. Go hd tru color here is the kicker on these take first layer of skin off but do not take off tail section do that don't they thump on a slow roll. Get the true 5ins 130mm has 18X on that packet enjoy last barra was 1.3 m I got doing that hack with lure.

Hey m8 I am going to brooklyn at hawksbury river nsw, I am bringing a 8 to 12 kg rod is there any spots that would suit a heavy rod like this 😀

You need to invest in a iso net, very compact, telescopic to 5 metres.
