While the Zman Micro Finesse lures will certainly catch bluegill and other panfish, I agree with you that they're all just a little too big. I don't know what thought process went into designing them, but they all seem like just smaller versions of classic bass lures. I'd love if they came out with a micro Micro Finesse collection with lures in the 1.25-1.5 inch range.
@ifishcatfish well I put them in a plastic I was hoping they would work for and they look perfect. I am so excited. I am going vertical jigging for Mondo white bass next week
I have tried the black (yoga pants) and the green pumpkin with chartreuse belly over the past couple of months. I haven't caught too many BG's, just a few, I have mostly caught a bunch of dink bass with them at my neighborhood pond. No crappie in this pond so I'm hoping to go out soon to another pond and try them for some crappie.
i have 3 videos coming back to back, just with the 1.25#10 and green pumpkin. Tore up crappie, and a few 8" bluegill. Still... as i said in the video, the primary target for that would be juvenile black bass
Great tips on how to put lures on jigs. The shape is a tad odd but some of the colors do look good, just like I do with some Charlie Sliders and whatever lure looks a bit too big for your BG' jigs I trimm them down to the right panfish size. As you know the 7 foot DOA Presso is being converted to a 6.6 swimbait rod, I'm going to follow your advice so an Air Presso is coming home soon, I just need final toughts on the lenght, 7 or 7.6?
7'6 is better for float fishing... if u gona use it just for float, go 7'6. If u wana double duty, then get 7 footer, because 7'6 is too long for other stuff
Hi Victor, there is a new area trout rod, Abu Garcia diplomat 2024. There are two versions of the same length, solid and tubular tip. Which one tip do you recommend?
@@ifishcatfishVictor you really need to try them, especially the Donkey Tail Jr. Smaller than the Z-Man baits and matches up perfectly with BG-1 jig heads. I have found them to be much more effective than any of the Z-Man micro baits although I haven’t yet tried the micro wormz.
@@bugtussle7475 they are not ‘much more effective’ than any zman. If u said ‘they are both just a piece of plastic’ i would let it go. But zman designs their baits with a lot of detail. Mule is just a generic chinese lure picked off a catalogue. They will both catch fish but if uou make videos, which is what i do, and take pictures, which is what i do, zman looks 5xbetter. Of course, if u know how to twitch, it doesnt matter what u have on the hook
i am thinking which one to do next. On the poll, the 1.25 and 2.0 gram had same votes, and the 2.0 had a few more. Also 1.25 is so close to 1.5 that u can always use one instead of the other. I fished in the last video in 6 feet of water with 1.5.
they melt if they touch other plastic. But not if they are just in the package by themselves.. Probably best is to glue and install them on the jig head and keep them in a jig box, not touching anything. Trust me, there is worse. Some of the chinese plastics get sticky just sitting on the hook keeper

yup!
First time ordering some of your jigs. I am excited to give them a try. Thanks for putting out some great fishing and gear videos!
well.. come back when u open the package for some first impressions! : )
Sweet video, I might give them a try on some local planted trout - I will keep you posted👍🎣👊
i just thought... in the whole video i didn't say any of them were good for trout... But their name is trout wormZ : ) Too big for trout for me..
@ I have caught planted trout on 2in swimbaits and even 3in jerkbaits - I will give it a shot 👍
I got my prototype jigs today can't wait to give them a try
man, u didn't tell me how they look! First impressions! Give me!

@@ifishcatfish Thank you for the tip to cut it down a bit, that will definitely help!!!

if anyone is looking to buy the 6'7 eradicator, a dealer is selling them on ebay, they are brand new....
Wow thanks for the heads up man I nabbed one $315 with tax and Shipping!
I’ve seen the last couple of your videos about the new vanford. Do you think it’s worth buying?
its the same as the old vanford
nice, thanks
Come on with the come on🙌🏽🎣
Hi Victor, there is a new area trout rod, Abu Garcia diplomat 2024. There are two versions of the same length, solid and tubular tip. Which one tip do you recommend?
link please.
i prefer tubular because i prefer slow action. If u prefer fast action, then solid
@ I have read that solid tip is more sensitive than tubular. Is that true if all things are equal?
@@thomaskong5 No, thats not true.
Have you heard of mule? They are ultra light, burro bug? Also...horse fly.
i hear about them in the comments of every single video. Extremely weird shapes. Even this looks nicer to me
@@ifishcatfish They do look weird, but they are so damn effective. They also have great action.

I’m on the east coast. I can’t find them on Amazon or eBay.
the jigs have a link in the description. The lures u can find on fishusa.com
My local academy carries them
YUM
Nice....
not a bad post, from grupy joe, i guess
Damn, 18 minute video... Ok video but should have been a lot shorter and more to the point
thats actually one of my shortest videos. If thats too long i can tell u right now this channels is not gona work out for you. Thanks for stopping.
@ifishcatfish definitely not for me
