Basic Information On Remember Me
.Neo-Paris, 2084: Personal memories can now be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy and intimacy have been swept away in what appears to be a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. A visionary 3rd person action adventure, Remember Me puts players into the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities have arrested Nilin and wiped her memory clean. After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past leads to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society.

I love that you used a weaker weapon to extend this amazing fight and godly soundtrack, simply amazing. Made my day!!
Actually the Reflector being used was Solar Flare, it is far from weak, it's the most powerful Reflector in the game, sure it may not have the raw damage of t fully charged Thunder Glaive but it is much faster and leaves you far less vulnerable and is very close to the same amount of damage, unless somehow I somehow was seeing Divine Intervention and confused it for the Solar Flare? :O

@@0TTERBRO I see, but what I ultimately mean is that the Solar Flare when upgraded is easily as powerful as the Thunder Edge Glaive, while it's raw single hit damage might not be the same, the Solar Flare is much faster and there for does more damage over a faster rate and you are less vulnerable doing so on average is all I mean :3
@@kaeaja I never tested all the weapons tbh, even tho I completed the game many times and it's an all time favorite of mine. On my first playthrough I stuck with the Divine Retribution for most of the game. I'll go ahead and try to test them all on my next playthrough.
What made me think this though is that I often if not always defeated Yami with the Solar Flare, and I beat him in like 10-20sec on most tries, he's really weak. Somehow the damage here or method used deal a lot less damage than I did, even non upgraded its 11.0DMG vs upgraded at 15.4DMG.
Not sure why he took so little damage here

The first time I ever went against Yami I played Utada Hikaru's Sanctuary...it went so perfectly with when Amaterasu howled in victory when the battle was over

It's been literal years since I first finished this game, it was back in high school and I remember binge playing for hours, when I was at almost at the end I refused to turn off my PS2 until I saw every last bit of the credits, watched all and when I turned off it was almost 6am. It actually took me more than 3 years to finish lol, english isn't my first language and it was hard to keep up with the amount of dialogue this game have. I've collected all the beads and did most of the side quests but didn't completed at 100%.
I got my hands on the hd version for pc last month and I'm already with the Ark of Yamato opened, and this time I'll do every single thing I can before finishing this game again.
Okami is my favorite game of all time 💜
I loved this game since I was a kid.
I played again thanks for the HD port, and maan, what a game.
The final part against Yami almost made cry.

I can’t be the only who somehow managed to beat one of Yami’s forms without realizing I could have just restored the gaps on the floor to make things easier for myself 😂
Also the fact that the orb Yami is in just pops out of it’s contraption’s butt is just hilarious to me.
I don't understand it. Yami is the emperor of eternal darkness. So, first he looks evil in this 'machine'. But then he looks like a fish😅... Why??
Have you seen some of the celestials and how they look like animals? Think of Yami as a dark version of a celestial.
Also it's got the lesson of evil beginning as something small and harmless.
@@isaacbryce2748 Yeah, it's meant to symbolize that great evil starts out small. This whole boss fight is full of symbolism.

Yami's name means Darkness in japanese (lierally) and all of its colors represent all of the negative energy and evil from Humanity

Red: Desire to Destroy, Yami's attacks are stumping on the ground, using and hammer and a chainsaw
Green: Desire to Incirenate, Yami's Attack uses fire
Blue: Desire to Gamble and Take Risks, Yami Transform into a Slot machine
Yellow: Desire of Creating Machines of mass Destruction, that's why he turn into a robot, or in Okami, "contraption"
Final Form/Hand: Evil comes from Human Hands
Core: Evil is born from humans, that's why it looks like a "fish", it resembles a "human fetus"

Those horrible things that we humans do, is what us in the game, controlling Amaterasu, are trying to eliminate. but the fact is that, Darkness can't be eliminated, i can be stopped, but not Destroyed
