My eyes always get a little misty when I hear someone who loves and trusts God as much as I do, I am glad to see you are back out there, and I know God is blessing you.

Great to see you up and going so quickly. Coming back from major surgery last year, my doctor said that he was glad I was a "walker" and told me the best recovery is get up and walk as quickly as possible (while monitoring pain). So good luck to you and stay strong and healthy! Remember, this all happened for a reason, don't beat yourself up. You were surrounded by Gods hands and angels (trail family).

Many people would have quit their thru hike under the same circumstances. You are an inspiration to so many, by not only fighting through that 4 mile walk to get to the hospital, but the dedication to overcome obstacles and get back to what you love to do. Morning Kelly! So glad to have you back! What a beautiful and amazingly profound video. Hunter said it best when he wrote “Without Love in the Dream it will never come true”. I can see and feel your love through your vlogs and it is magically. I have no doubt that you will live your dream and complete your goal of hiking the AT, and I for one CAN NOT WAIT!!!! Good plan. Meet up with your tramily, and after Mt Katahdin you can zip back down and finish the miles you missed. You can even do it SOBO and meet new folks to travel with.

I highly recommend you go at your own pace away from your trail family. They have their trail legs on. You are fresh and will likely require a slow ramp back up. Take it easy. Lots of beautiful hikers to meet out there. All my best and will continue to follow your journey

Glad you are heading back on trail, I feel your pain, I got hospitalised with gynaecological problems 2 weeks before I was due to fly out to Nepal to do the Annapurna Circuit, sat in A&E in tears refusing surgery because they were destroying my dreams.. yeah I was a brat (even worse, I worked at the hospital and knew everybody). Turns out I didn't need surgery urgently and still got to go but for 2 days seemed very unlikely.
Look after yourself and take your time. So excited for you, happy trails.
