i love this episode because it shows that not only Holt is changing the crew,but the crew is also changing Holt. I also have a little headcanon about this episode: Holt went home and excitedly told Kevin all about it in great detail while petting Cheddar

i think this was the first episode that really touched me deeply
“i said it. AND I MEANT IT!” is one of my favorite holt lines. 😂
AWD: All wheels get power, at different rates, depending on the requirements (good on road, shit off road) the driver has little or no control of which wheel gets what as it is mechanically and electronically controlled. Think subaru on the highway.
4WD: All wheels (or at least both axles) get the same amount of power (great off road, useless on road). Usually has to be manually activated by the driver, as it is for spesific conditions. For normal road use, a 4wd car is used in 2wd mode, usually just the rear wheels. Think jeep in the forest.
Simplified. And often used interchangeably.
Continuity error : Holt does have a tv in the bedroom. During the party at Holt's house, Amy was going through the DVR in their room !
I felt bad for Holt a bit in this episode. But he got there in the end :) This kind of interaction is definitely a learning process for him :)

This is one of my favourite episodes, I think all the little stories are so great and always love seeing some vulnerability from both Holt and Rosa.
I hope this doesn't come off as rude, but I think a cool thing is sometimes you talk about what you expect or want from an episode, and they feel like very archetypal "sitcom" things to happen, and I think one of the great things about this show is that for all its silliness, it generally won't push characters into inauthentic places for the sake of hijinks (maybe Hitchcok and Scully). So for instance, this is as wild as Ray Holt is capable of being at this point in time, and while something bigger and goofier may have been funnier in the moment, this fits in with a big picture of his growth as a person. Feels like the writers really care about the characters.
Not rude at all!!! I think that’s one of the things I love the most about this show! He’s it’s funny and goofy but there are random twists and I love when I don’t see things coming!
