Johnny Gaudreau Clutch Moments Montage

I put this highlight package together myself. It features what I view as Johnny Gaudreau's most important plays as a Calgary Flames player. I also want to share a little bit about how much he meant to me.
The Flames have only made it past the first round of the playoffs 3 times since winning the Stanley Cup in 1989. 2 of those 3 times have been due to the incredible play of Johnny Gaudreau in 2015 and 2022.
Both of those years hold a special place in my heart, but 2015 especially. As I'm sure most of you know, 2015 is the year my dad died. It was also the year that Gaudreau had his NHL debut as a rookie. He played an important role in helping the Flames make the playoffs for the first time since 2009, and to win a round for the first time since 2004.
I had already been living in New Jersey at that time, but was able to be on the phone with my dad as we watched game 6 against Vancouver. The flames went down 3-0 in that game and I thought for sure that they would lose. But my dad stayed positive. Sure enough, the Flames came back and won that game. Gaudreau scored the goal to tie it at 3. Later he would get an assist on the goal that tied it at 4, and an assist on the empty net goal to seal the game and series.
During round 2 of those playoffs, I had flown up to Calgary to be with my dad and help my family take care of him. We watched game 3 of that series. Gaudreau scored the game tying goal with 19 seconds left in the game. The Flames won in overtime and avoided going down 3-0 in the series. I went to game 4 with my dad and witnessed an incredible assist by Johnny Gaudreau. This ended up being the last hockey game that my dad went to.
