Why is everyone hating on this alleged rendering of the Outback! What do you guys expect from Subaru? Like, really!!! Subaru has never made attractive cars, so what is the outcry all about! From my perspective, this rendering still looks like an Outback! It looks like a typical Subaru. Need I say more. Subaru's are unique cars with unique looks.😊
The approach and departure angles don't look so good as compared to the current Outback. Knowing what the 2025 Forester was going to look like, and not having the Wilderness edition not be available until 2026 AND that iPad style screen I went with the 2024 Forester Wilderness.

New sub trim level is coming to the outback for 2026. XL and XLT . Extra Large and Extra Large Turbo. The XL is taller/longer than the standard size.

As an Outback Wilderness owner, there is no reason to be excited. The over hangs are awful and its just ugly. Looking forward to new Trailsport.

The roof is too high for kayak access. I carry two large 2 seater kayaks. The current height is perfect for kayak access.
That front end is hideous
I was planning on buying a new Subaru in a year and a half, but not if it is that ugly and square.
If this is what the 2026 Outback, I will never buy an Outback again. I own two and I love both of our Outback’s, this new own is down right ugly.
Wheels are way to skinny looks like bicycle tires. Hood is to flat! Hood needs more slope toward A pilers and windshield.

Very ugly similar to ugly Santa Fe. Same weak engine as before plus the stupid hybrid which can explode catch fire
