- We walked around the Indian Pass Campground area on the tip of the peninsula and give y'all a little look at the area and beaches there. For lunch we went to Cat 5 Raw Bar and had some shrimp and oysters and watched an eagle catch it's lunch too. For dinner we went to Joe Momma Woof Fired Pizza. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and highly recommended!
This truly is a beautiful area to visit with lots to enjoy.
I enjoy watching
A great video guys 👏👏👏🥰🍺🍺🇬🇧👌
I truly enjoy your adventures! What a pleasant treat exploring with your family thank you!
Taste like the gulf! Love it!
Port St Joe is a quiet fishing town that is way underrated. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.
St. Vincent is an awesome refuge island! Quite a history to it. Easy trip is a canoe or kayak.
You two are adorable! I felt like I was spending an afternoon with my parents and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
My uncle has a place at Mexico beach that was destroyed during Hurricane Michael, we were there a month before. My entire family has vacationed in MB for over 20 years.
It stuff like this that makes me want to move to Florida!!! OMG Florida rocks!!!
I enjoy the still pictures at the end. To me they make a great ending.🙂
Thank you. We always takes pics of our travels so it’s a great way to share them with others.
St Joe is also popular for scallops when in season.
Great video. I like my oysters grilled on the half shell.
Last video I was asking about the poll buildings. Thanks so much for showing them in this one. Great video and I love Y'alls taste in food.
We stayed at Presnells 2 yrs ago when we took motorhome down to Port St. Joe .... loved staying there ....it is such a pretty place the whole area is
Never ate them steamed like that but have ate them like that just like that grilled.... they where freaking awsome grilled with garlic and porm cheese butter on the half shell....
Another great place to eat is Dagwood on Reid ave and the pizza place Bruno’s at Windmark beach which is on the way to Mexico Beach.
Shell shack on Mexico beach have great seafood they will steam for you.
The Piggly Eiggly has awesome fried chicken
Can you tell I’m excited to have you here.
Stayed in site D3 last week.Great place
I like raw oysters on a cracker with a horseradish and cocktail sauce mixture that will melt your brain😂. All that food looks great. I'm hitting that place up, the next time I visit my buddy in Mexico Beach.
My whole street was oyster shell when I growing up.
Wow ..... just Wow! great adventure. Thank you A & A for sharing with us.
I so wish I were there with you guys. Lived on St Pete Beach for a couple years. Miss the water living in the desert now. I had no idea butterscotch pudding had anything to do with Disney but Abbey it's my favorite too. My gal makes if for me from scratch when I'm good.
We will be camping here for the 1st time in a few weeks. Stayed at the state park many times before the hurricane took it out, glad to see it's back open. Thanks for sharing the video.
Hope you enjoy it as much as much as we do!!
no shade or privacy at the state park campground anymore
So happy you visited the Port Saint Joe area my Wife and I love it there. Too bad you didn't visit the cape it has an excellent state park out on the end that used to have awesome campsites until Hurricane Michael. Hopefully they will finish the restoration soon.
Check out the newest video.
The only thing missing from your cocktail sauce is a dash of Worcestershire sauce :)
Or a squirt of lemon juice.
Thank you for showing our beautiful city. So blessed to be raised and get to raise my kids here. Got engaged at the city pier amost 25 years ago. Welcome to our slice of heaven.
I grew up very near there, Adam. In my youth, it was privately-owned and visitors were not allowed. As teens, we made a good many surreptitious trips to the island. Fortunately, we never got caught.
I truly enjoy watching your videos, keep up the good work.
Love following your adventures! Keep living your best life!
That "woof fired pizza" looks great! 😁
Adam, you made me stop your video and take out some oysters for dinner tonight. Just got home from camping in Santa Barbara CA.
Nice! Man I got a nice full of them when we’re over in PSJ 👍🏻
iI will eat them oysters either way but I love them fried
Another Awesome Abom adventure!!
Hi Adam
It was a beautiful landscape. Enjoy your trip...l hope to have a pleasure time there👌👌👍👍
Most of the goodness in oysters is their "texture" and firmness. It's true, fresh seafoods will "turn" in just 24 hours especially if you are used to same day caught and consumed, its spoils you. Clam Chowder is the ultimate, the white version as is a good oyster cream stew. So sad that some of our restaurants simply don't serve the more deserving dishes anymore. BTW, it is very hard to beat a real brick wood fired oven when it comes to pizza and other baked items. I like them cooked a little more than a little less to get the top crust and goodies browned plus the smoke flavor ! Bring me another !
We like making cocktail sauce with Chili Sauce instead of Ketchup, as for hot sauce I'm a . Fortunately we have some GREAT Horseradish by us since we're local to a HUGE Polish Population and they make some of the best horseradish (creamy and rough grated). We use rough grated in our cocktail sauce. As for hot sauce? Tabasco is my "go to", but I like many of them, so we change it up. We'll make up several types and MANY like it made with Franks Red Hot and Chili Sauce, the other popular one we make is the way Abby makes it...with ketchup.
Adam, you NAILED the flavor of an oyster. Personally, I like mine raw, by the dozens. Most people that think that they are "nasty" either have never had them, or are judging them by their look. I do like them baked as well, but raw is my favorite.
GREAT Shot of that bald eagle! We have a nesting pair just about a mile from my home, and they fly over once in a while.
Thank you for coming by cat 5 for lunch. Only problem I have is y'all need one of my coozies, coolest ever, lol. If you can message me an address or if you are still around swing by and tell them scooter said to come get a coozie. Awesome video
Adam, do the still have alotta hurricane damage down in that area?? We drove from P'cola to Crystal River 2 years ago and Mexico beach, Tyndall all had significant damage .... I mean holy crap mindboggling damage
Yep still alotta damage...... I love the idea of the camper, boat overhead structure
It usually takes several years to recover from such a devastating Hurricane. The effects are felt long after.
Abby made Whataburger spicy ketchup!!!
I'm sorry I can eat them Adam glad you love them but I got some bad ones one time was sick for two weeks an have not ate none since I just can't do it but you do you if you love them go for it
Oysters are Neptunes' snacks. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE THEM any way they are served....
👍👍👍👍☕☕🍩🍩
Adam try Jello cook n serve Butterscotch with the vanilla cookies you put in Banana pudding.... it's the bomb!!
Do you know how much those spots for the pole barns run?
That’s definitely not a barefoot beach, lol. I run between Baton Rouge to St. Marks by water twice sometimes 3 times a month and there are plenty of eagles 🦅 in that area. Enjoyed seeing all of that from the land side.
My tastes are the same as yours, Abby. I only make my own cocktail sauce. A truckload of horseradish and a little ketchup. I have also made it with BBQ sauce for grilled or smoked seafoods.
I noticed your arrowhead ear rings Abbey, do you enjoy Indian artifacts? I have stuff that goes back to 10K & 12K BC
Florida is a beautiful state, but i'm not sure if i would want to live down there cause of all the hurricanes.
I love your shows . My question is pretty simple credible or incredible is there a difference ?
Narrator says, " I believe that is considered St. Vincent Sound ". Nope, what you're looking at is actually Indian Lagoon. Harvested many oysters from there growing up.
No more oyster business now thanks to Georgia draining the Apalachicola river...
Gosh Dang!
Crystal is better than Tabasco all day
Opinion, not fact.
The oyster shells could slice/puncture a tire and really shouldn't be walked on barefooted.
Shark infested waters. Do not swim here.
that's every gulf/bay beach
