Hello Karl, from Saskatchewan Canada :)! I ham in the process of restoring the same car as you are, 1970 Charger 500. It is a process for sure, and I'm hoping to have it on the street this summer. I'm an American who grew up with these cars and I never heard them referred a MK 2 We would say 2nd generation.

what the hell did you think you were going to spend? 50k easy, restoring these old cars is joke, only the rich can do it
@mark rylander It's a lot more expensive to do these cars in the UK, they are not easy to find for a start, cant go to the local store and buy parts, parts have to be imported with shipping costs and rip-off import tax, it all adds up, have a mate who spent £14,000 on the body of his 1980 Pontiac Trans Am, so 50K (pounds not dollars) is pretty realistic for a Charger.
