In this episode Tony Tighie , one of John Castleman's men at American Auto Finishers, sets about chopping out all the many rotten areas of Karl's Charger.
This episode explores the nuances of the task Tony embarks upon as well as looking at the issues with using a small quarter panel skin, opposed to the larger quarter panel skin.

Love the 3d Camara app it's so cool
Geeze can someone please teach that man how to use a plasma cutter
Cracking update ,I appreciate there is a lot of time to create content but I would love more than one episode a month
I'm sorry... holding down a day job and filming is very time consuming... IF I can make enough money from UA-cam I'll give up the day job but that's a LONG way off
Great insight into the complex work required to restore your Charger 🏁🏁🏁
Thank you !!
InstaBlaster
Awesome channel, looking forward to following your journey, please keep posting videos!...im hoping to do the same one day, i'm still on the hunt for my 69' Charger
Thanks Michael - Good luck finding a nice 69 !!
Dont worry....its gonna be a great car! I am restoting a 68 GTO, and I am 10grand(pounds) in already....!
Keep posting your progress. Cool.
Good luck with the GTO !!!! Nice car to restore buddy !!
You going to have 50 + thousand
when it's done it's going be nice
I miss my 66 mustang 😢
I put to much into it ...
How did they primer inside the quarters without taking them off? Was the car dipped in primer?
No, I think they liberally sprayed it EVERYWHERE on another day after I was done shooting - the inside of the quarters wasn't too difficult to get to from underneath, as the trunk floor was gone at either side...
What program at the beginning of the vid with the exploded view of the car?
I had a buddy do it - MAYA
Don't get it it why change the rear quarter?
China body panels ofc
How much investment are you going to have in your restoration? Sad to see shotty work over there years. If they would have do it right the first time, you wouldn't have to redo all the work and dreaded rust. I just finished my 1969 AMC AMX 390 GO PACK WITH EVERY AVAILABLE OPTION. THEY ARE A LABOR OF LOVE BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. The guys you have working on it are real pros. I airplane stripper mine to bare medal and replaced any rust with new medal. Look forward to your next video. PS.,....... Don't get discouraged and don't cut corners, it will last a lifetime. Cheers. Neal
Neal - I'm in DEEP !!! But it's my dream car, so as long as I can still pay my household bills, I'm ok getting in deep... YES, we will not cut corners, although John is annoyed I used the worse, smaller quarter panel
