this seems like just the kind of series ive been looking for to get actually helpful planning tips and inspiration, and cant believe this was only uploaded a few hours ago! definitely sticking around to see how the city grows, and what you do with it
Hi new here just watched first video and I really enjoyed it looking forward to catching up with the other episodes going to follow along the build on Xbox console
Oh, I like this map. It is one of my favourites. Looking forward to seeing how this city develops. And I like that it is vanilla :) I don't have time to play myself at the moment, so watching other people play will have to do.
Ah glad tour enjoying it, yes im so happy to be playing in vanilla for the 1st time in soo long it feels good. I love this map too and you'll love the next ep should be a lot of detail
This is great. I start the same way, but I run the paths vertical instead of horizontal so I can connect them to the main road for buses later. 😁Just a choice.
Nice layout, I like the idea of a "ringway" for an artery and having the outer roads of a residential functioning like a collector (kinda like an inner ring). It might be even more pronounced if you have a zoning free artery with a collector parallel to it. I'd image this strip would be awesome for commercial, service buildings and parks on either side. Maybe the trick with the highschool having it a little further from the road (for everything on one side) would be awesome to be able to replace the parallel collector with a tram-bike road later. On the other side of the artery you can leave room for a metro along the entire length. The encapsulated residential zones look perfect to be turned into pedestrian zones (I don't have that dlc), do you have any experience with that?
Just found this channel. Going to follow the entire series. As for the name suggestion “verde anillo” is Spanish for a ring or band of green, and since the series is going to be un-modded (aka Vanilla), how about Verdanilla as a combination of the two ideas?
My man, in 24 minutes starting fresh Im 20k population and 7-8k income monthly. Few hours later in one go Im 17million cash, no industry (industry 4.0, no heavy traffic, etc) and over 130k population and 60-80k monthly income. Most people dont know that the end game of city skylines is a tourist, commercial and offices city without industry.
I just got this game a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure my graphics settings are the same that you have but it just doesn't look this good. Or good at all. I thought maybe I needed mods
All these people on youtube imagining things trying to build the perfect city and it never works, because perfect city is when you follow data, not your imagination.
Awh thanks glad u enjoyed it, we sadly already have a name for the 1st town, we do however need a name for the nature reserve and industrial park in the newest ep.
The map Azure Gulf looks suspiciously like the San Francisco Bay Area. I think the Stonehenge looking thing on the square to the west is an easter egg called Filoli. Anyways district name - Alpha Acres?
Just started mine, after building 7-8 cities in sandbox. I still don't really know what I am doing 🥲 Always after hitting 30k people my traffic flow just dips down to 40%
I do enjoy a vanilla build, this was really nice 😁👍
Aw thank you, im really glad u enjoyed it ☺️

Great vid thanks mate, made me hate how messy and disorganised mine is, might have to restart!!
Awh thanks, that is the best part about this game restarting but also love to go over things and fix em.
4:30 how do you access the inland streaming pump?
I think it came with sunset harbour.
Good build, I'm appreciated with your vanilla content. Keep going. I'm subscribed you now 😉
I think you should put the EP order on the title like EP1, EP2. so people follow in later can watch it in order.
@@vachiryu ah good idea thanks
Thank your glad u enjoyed the build ☺️

that is very good, i like to build fun cities pleasing too the eye and build up slowly. everyone builds bifferent thats what i love about this game.
What's the purpose of making regions on residential zones?
Mainly just to name them but u also get stats on then like population in areas. Also for policies
@Ginge. Thanks! Trying to learn the game deeper to get ready for 2!
how you get the
inland Water treatment Plant
U believe that is with the sunset harbour pack
I do not have the same buildings you do in my vanilla game, you are running some dlc?
yes i am using dlc, no mods included.
I just got this game a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure my graphics settings are the same that you have but it just doesn't look this good. Or good at all. I thought maybe I needed mods
Oh really what u have cities skylines on console ? Also u can change graphics setting. I have a short on how to do that ☺️

Wait a minute look similar to overcharged eggs start ... still cool tho😊

All these people on youtube imagining things trying to build the perfect city and it never works, because perfect city is when you follow data, not your imagination.
Nice way to start. You city is looking great. How about calling it Daviesdale named after your founding resident in the clown car Kathleen Davies.
Awh thanks glad u enjoyed it, we sadly already have a name for the 1st town, we do however need a name for the nature reserve and industrial park in the newest ep.

How do you get both European and regular services?
Just started mine, after building 7-8 cities in sandbox. I still don't really know what I am doing 🥲 Always after hitting 30k people my traffic flow just dips down to 40%
Ah nice, use public transport to spread out the cims instead of 30 cars on the road u have 1 bus
