- In this video, i have covered how the impact of stress on the brain-gut axis causes hormonal imbalances and various health issues including anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, and belly fat.
Practice daily gratitude exercises such as gratitude journaling. By expressing gratitude and recognizing the positive aspects of one's life, the release of happy hormones like dopamine and serotonin can help lower cortisol levels and improve the gut-brain connection.
Overall, by managing stress and nurturing a positive mindset, individuals can enhance their gut health and overall well-being.

Love this mind body connection tangent doc. It is very much overlooked in modern medicine. A true "vaithiyar" looks at the cause. I'm glad you are out here doing whatever u are doing.
We need more modern medicine doctors to think holistically. It always occurs to me that the rapid change in human diet and life quality in the last few decades is too quick for both our bodies and minds to adjust.
It is as difficult to maintain mental health as it is to maintain physical health.
Many of us see videos on gratitude journaling but seldom are able to continue.
Because thanking for what we have seems superficial but fretting about our issues feels normal. True change begins with the mind. The discipline to continue writing, fasting or working out.
I guess that attitudinal and circumstantial aspect of health places a huge role in prevention and recovery from ailments.

I have got inspired by your videos, and have started Intermitant fasting.
Actually, I'm fasting 16hrs from 2pm afternoon to next day morning 7am.
Usually, i see that for IF, everyone suggest to delay breakfast, but, I'm skipping dinner.
Hope its ok.
It's been around 15 days, and I have started to see changes in my body.

Hi Dr Pal, I have just started watching ur videos since 3 days, & I am sooo glad that u have given solution to all my long standing problem for years of belly fat & obesity.I am 56 years old with Thyroid issue. Since last 3 days I have started 7 30 am to 7 30 pm as eating window, I have tried various weight loss program but never could lose belly fat. Ur vidoes r sooo hilarious but drives the point so clearly that even a person like me, who has no idea of medicine or science can understand the biological processes of the gut. Thanks a million raised to infinity for this help. U r truly a messenger from God to help all suffering from no knowledge of the guts & still eating like Saravanakumar. I'm your loyal subscriber. One thing that helps me is having no filter in life. I'm not talking about quitting filter cigarettes da, I'm talking about having no filter while interacting with your friends and family. Sit in a place where you feel no insecurities about judgements. Sharing things will reduce cortisol levels like how my biriyani disappears quickly while sharing with them. Do what makes you feel happy. I understand we might fail a lot. But at least we failed trying our best. Listen to your Gut sing a soup song and sing along!
