if you shot starter fluid in and the engine ran until starter fluid ran out. then you are bypassing the fuel injectors fuel pump, lack of fuel , mass air flow sensor, and fuel pump relay.
Power on both terminals is normal if other injectors are connected. Just like a light bulb, solenoid etc. if you know electrical then you would understand.
Thank you. I'm having same issue with my buddies window. She let his 4runner sit for 4 years. It runs with starting fluid. Also the fuel gauge don't work. Did your fuel gauge work when it cranked but didn't start? Thanks for posting. God bless.
@@agross2870 when it did start I didn't have long enough to see I had to shut it down because it would just rev up cause a vacuum leak so I redid all the vacuum lines and finished putting in the radiator and fan but now it won't start so I have no clue, I'm thinking wires got crossed or something with the vacuum lines but I can't find a video that shows the lines very well I just used an online diagram when I redid them
Dislike beause of incomplete info. Where is this wire in the back on the cap and where does it go to & how did you get to it??!! I have the same thing ( a 91 with a 92 motor)
You want to dislike the video go ahead that’s the world we live in but then don’t ask me a question, video is intended for someone with a bit of knowledge, next time just ask a question without being a Karen
Hey where is the location and what actually did happen (different guy) asking nicely I just changed my head gaskets changed my injector timing belt and water pump spark plugs also I also took the heads to a machine shop. It starts when I fired it up after the job and then it didn’t start after I turned it off
I changed all 6 injectors with denso remanned* and machine shopped heads and mechanic put it back together started first crank then never started again after like turned on 4 times we don’t have a check engine light, so we tested the Ecu which is coming today it has been reprogrammed and fixed due to water damage all worked accept the check engine light so I tested all the wires with a test light and it led to the Ecu everything worked accept the check engine light computer line and the Ecu had a hole in once of the microchips from a mini explosion no smoke or smell though the Ecu was wet so we don’t know what’s gonna happen yet but I’ll have an Ecu today

Best way to check for injector pulse is a lab scope. Noid light on Toyota’s cannot be trusted.
The noid light did exactly what it’s intended purpose was, the point of the video was me fixing the problem and not someone else.
You're stupid This is not a house outlet. The shouldnt be power on both terminals on an injector! Im a Toyota Technician

Widow not window.
Great video!
Whats a code 14? I have that poping up on my 1990 pickup.
I believe ignition related but there are numerous things within ignition that it could be
I don't want to but I might take my intake back off and look at some grounds and diagrams but I don't know
If you say it’s cranking and you have wet plugs it’s going to be something else, do you get spark
@@elsydro8064 that's what I'm trying to see but I'm not to sure how to test that
@@coop_69 Try testing your coil packs/distributor with an ohmsmeter & see if they work
Was your check engine light coming on or not
