I had captured a video in the first game up to the final boss, but unfortunately at the end of the recording I made a mistake and it was lost, but oh well.
I think these are not samples but sounds that recreate samples. It surely use Roudoudou's impressive software (WAV2AY) that transforms samples into CPC sounds ...
@TontonMayonnaise So that's it! I knew there was something special about the way they sounded! Ingenious, to say the least and *very* true to the original sounds! Nice! 👍🏻👏🏻❤️
From what I know, Wav2Ay creates smaller MP3 files from large WAV files. And here you can hear chip-only and occasionally digital sound effects. That's my impression.
I think none of us are under any illusion why an official street fighter game never materialised on the CPC. It was clearly well beyond the capabilities of the machine, but if someone had been a little bit creative in the 90’s like you guys have been here this would have been awesome! Top quality work!
Could of just ported the Spectrum version. However there was a homebrew in development in Spain. It remains unfinished despite being shown running in person at Amstrad shows. It would be nice to see it completed. There are videos of it available
@DanielEdwards Speak for yourself, that demo by that Spanish developer proves you wrong. Many things that were deemed not possible on the CPC were later proved to be possible.
@@DanielEdwards- Alright, I'll put it this way... If you think this chibi version of SF is top quality work, then that WIP is going to knock your socks off...
@@DanielEdwards- If you search under Street Fighter 2 Amstrad on YT you should find it easy enough. There is one well known fake out there but it's an obvious one. It's a shame progress was halted because it has lovely Mode 0 graphics and good sized sprites as well
Gracias a vosotros por haber creado el magnífico juego, sin el cual no sería posible jugarlo ... y de momento si jaja, es el único video que muestra el video capturado desde máquina real jeje
The sound and music is very impressive!!! I actually preferred this version of the main theme to the arcade version!!
Impressive game !! And the sample impression is great ! Another hit on the CPC !
A remarkable piece of programming..... well done guys.... Really....
Awesome! Well done everyone 👍

I will have to check it out and play myself soon. I am a long time SF2 die-hard fan and everyone's nightmare as Dhalsim 😂
@@fygarOnTheRun I'll be happy to teach you a lesson on Fightcade.
@@GenMaster 🤣
@@fygarOnTheRun Don't laugh! You up for it? Street Fighter Alpha 3 is my main game.
está de lujo! que gran trabajo! gracias por esta maravilla
The most impressive aspect programming wise is the use of samples with ongoing action on-screen.

@TontonMayonnaise I'm curious to listen to other, non-voice sfx made with this program!

@@axelheld6655 they sound more like native AY to me, but you could be right.

@ I’ve never seen it so I couldn’t comment.
