Great review! I sat in one at a Volvo dealer and was bowled over how comfortable the seat was. I was wondering what to get after my Infiniti lease is up. Don’t need to wonder anymore. It will be a S60 in December.
Couldn’t wait to Dec- bought my S60 in Aug. Cost only a couple thousand over a new Accord my wife is leasing. Volvo is so much more comfortable than the Honda.
I like what Volvo are doing with their designs, unlike Audi or BMW that's getting more and more over styled these days *think larger and larger grilles* Volvo are keeping it so sleek, clean and timeless.
People talk about 6 cylinders bla, bla. I can not help myself but for ordinary common driver is power 200 horses more than enough. Its like with motorcycles, who needs 1000 supersport with 200 horses for public roads? I would believe that those big mouth speakers narrating about lack of horses, or 6 cylinders would be pretty poor if they are placed on race track! I want car that is safe, economic, comfortable to sit in and drive and pleasure to look at. If top speed is only 200km/h or 250km/h, or acceleration 0-100km is 6s or 8s is something that I really don't focus on! Thank you for fair and honest review
@@brucemadu8535 Bruce...we have a 2016 V60, which runs on regular fuel. Here in Texas, gas is cheap, so buying premium wouldn't be a huge issue. Especially if it enhanced performance. It is weird though that the new cars are spec'd this way. Our V60 has been a joy. Reliability has been perfect. Not a single issue. Nada. For me, it's about the dealership experience. I think all brands have issues at some point, and for me it's how the dealers handle things. Our purchase experience and regular service experience has been great so far (Momentum Houston). By contrast, we had a series of horrible experiences with a Honda dealership and Honda corporate. Bad stuff. I've had a lot of cars over the years and can say this V60 has been pure fun and enjoyable to drive. Great around town and for road trips. Smooth as silk. I hope they get the reliability right on the new models, because it's on our list for "next cars". Holler back if I can help otherwise.
Nikola Petrovic I’ve driven both a Mercedes sedan and the 2019 S60 and they felt really similar, both pretty smooth, no major differences that I can remember
Blunted response to inputs compared to the Germans, and a bit more numb and video gamey. The NVH is a little thrashier and the suspension is capable but not as cobsistent feeling over different surfaces.
@@brucemadu8535 dude this is a volvo that it Nokia 3310 of cars.. no need to worry about cold weather too, the car is made in and for Scandinavia which has the same climate as Canada. Volvo mat sound exotic to US Americans but it's a more than an established brand in Europe and has the highest reliability and safety ratings of any car ever made worldwide. It's a tank on wheels, these engines easily go up to 500k miles with proper maintenance. Shit doesn't break
I just hate the sedan-boot. cant fit anything bigger there and trips become a hassle due to the limited opening and height inside. especially with kids
Be more professional and take the time to clean the inside of the vehicle, (Hint) back seat climate control stack. And take the child seat out of the back seat!!
Sorry, real life review. This is what it looks like when you have to drop off and pick up kids. I get it but when I’m juggling a million things a week, I’m lucky to get the time to even film a review period. I could just use the manufacturers shots and then people complain that they want to see my own shots. Ugh. Can’t win😆

Is that your new Volvo in your profile pic?if it is then it’s a sexy gorgeous beast👍😃
I aspire to buy that one day 😊😊

All about that Volvo life 🤩🤩
Very good review. I just subscribed. Vancouver, BC, Canada.
I really want one!
I would like to see a comparison between autonomous driving systems of various manufacturers.
Thanks for the nice review.

You don't settle for "sufficient" when shopping luxury cars. If what you describe is what you want, save your cash and go buy a Camry.
Love our V60!
Looking at V60 or cross country. How’s the reliability, service costs? Premium fuel scares me!

@@orreng Are you getting the advertised 32 mpg or better? I'm deciding between this car and the Audi RLX SH-AWD Hybrid.
@@koolkokujin7015 I get 28 in town. 30 on the hwy. I don't use the Eco mode.
Can u tell us whats the driving experience compared to german vehicles?

Wish the european models also had these headlamp with side markers
I LOVE the V60.
I know this will sound nuts, but the silhouette resembles a base model Dodge Charger with the Volvo design language; IMO.
Price, fuel, gas mileage? - there’s more important things than red paint, autonomous driving and sound systems.
That doesn't seem like something a person who's in the market for a sport sedan would say.
The head unit controlling EVERYTHING is worrisome. Fails when -20 in Canada and heater doesn’t work. Oh Boy!

Good looking vehicle, pity it doesn’t have a six cylinder engine.
Or a dual charge 5 cylinder like my T5. 25 percent power increase is just right
❤❤❤🚘🚘🚘
Looks orange...not red.

Be more a grown up instead being a child crying just because there was a child seat in the car.
Слава КПСС!
Too much praise for an unknown quantity. Just the facts, Man. Also a question about Volvo reliability
Cars with this engine have been on the streets for quite a few years now. Haven't heard anything bad about reliability.
What the bladdy hell is this very very stupide music ????
i want more bmw cars. until then, there will be no likes
BMW - everyone says get rid off when warranty over!
