  • Hansa C21 Chipper - Chipping on the Dam Access Road - 2022 #46
In this video I'm working along the dam access road again, using the Hansa C21 Chipper to chip and mulch all the branches and logs that have been gathered over the past few weeks.
Making progress, one chip at a time .....

What a handy piece of machinery! You get a lot of work done there on your property and it’s enjoyable to watch 🤝

Hey Dillon. Thanks for watching. It’s been satisfying for me to see the progress too. That chipper works great, perfect for my size of property.

Pretty cool eh. I love seeing deer on the land. It goes through cycles though, lots in autumn, quiet in winter, I see them in spring and none in summer. Not sure why.

The chipper with the Honda engine make a great combination.
Seeing kangaroo on the trail camera was a neat add on..😁👍

your splitter has that engine, they are really powerful. Did you spot the one in full flight ? caught on camera as it hopped the fence. I'm more happy to see the deer, I see lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies, seeing the deer is exciting for me.

@TheRuralProject I missed the one in flight.. I was showing my daughter, and she was more impressed with the kangaroos as it's something we don't see all the time.. plus, she was asking about where you were.

Mate this video is Gold thankyou. Every other video I've seen the operator is handling small saplings and prunings which tells me nothing. I have a C13 PTO which is supposed to handle 90mm but it struggles with anything over 65mm so I'm wanting to upgrade.

That chipper is a beast 🤘
Some of them bits as thick as your arm could make nice no-split firewood 🤔

      Yep the hansa eats wood.
Re wasting firewood, I hear you, but I have to balance effort vs reward, I’m clearing my land ( and making firewood on the side ) it takes a lot of work to gather and store so when it’s hard to reach wood I’m only taking the cream and chipping or burning the rest. In the next section I clear, from the gulley, the effort is even higher so more is burned, breaks my heart to waste it but i don’t have the time.
Don’t watch the burning off video coming up soon, it might be too upsetting. Ha ha. 😁😁

      @@TheRuralProject - I do get the balance of effort/reward 😉
I just can’t help myself though. The little ms170 or the 180 is usually within arms reach when I’m out n about 😁
