    I just finished a hat using this technique and it looks pretty good for my first try at jogless tripes. It was easy to follow and I learned one thing. When you start the decreases of the crown, plan it so the first row of the color change will not be a decrease row. This works and does not interfere with this technique.

    I just discovered your channel after looking for options to minimize the jog with stripes in the round. I watched a LOT of videos on this and yours is unique and looks like the best one! I will try it! New subscriber!

    After having tried upteen techniques for jogless joins, your method is, by far, THE BEST! My color transitions look great, and there's no little hole! I only wish I had discovered your video about two dozen pair of socks ago! Thanks so much!

    This is the best jogless join! My old way always left the hole you talked about. I just tried it and it worked like a charm, and will be the only technique I use for a jogless join going forward. Thank you so much! I also just subscribed, thanks again!

    This is perfect! I like the fact that it doesn't change your "beginning of rnd" point, and it looks fantastic! Thank you for sharing 😊

    This is excellent. I've never had a problem eliminating the jog as I slip the first stitch but the holes from changing colours have driven me nuts and I've spent ages when weaving in the ends trying to hide the holes, This is a perfect tutorial. Thank you.

    Thank you. This looks better than the other options! It is also easier. I knit mitts and socks in the round and have not used stripes so this will help me use up a lot of left over yarn.

    • @thechillydog
      @thechillydog  Рік тому

      Yes, you could use it for three or four round stripes. For two round stripes check out this lesson, ua-cam.com/video/0LIm0yTk-Fg/v-deo.html.

    This is a great method. Thank you. What do you think of the idea of weaving in the new yarn as you knit, starting a few stitches before the join, then weaving in the old yarn when knitting the following few stitches after the join?

    • @thechillydog
      @thechillydog  2 роки тому

      There may be situations where that could work depending on the fiber content of your yarn, the location of the color change and maybe your stitch pattern. I'm not sure if it would help hide the jog for stripes, though.

    How are you getting one with those Addi Rocket V2 needles? I was considering a set of replaceable tips.

    • @thechillydog
      @thechillydog  2 роки тому +2

      I have only used the smaller sizes for sock knitting, not the larger, interchangeable ones, but I find the stitches advance on my needles smoothly without much effort and the stitches are very evenly sized/spaced.
