It sure is awesome just getting out in nature and just enjoying the moment. Not every ride has to be a super intense adrenaline pumping ride. This looked really nice man
7:47 turn right down through those woods is great fun bit rooty this time of the year though, you've got to send it over the bridges and down the steps, that's possibly my favourite line round here haha!
Proper good adventure ride, some great sections through the woods and enough fun 'Gnar' to keep us happy haha, lucky you didn't catch your bars on that narrow part, i cringed on that bit for ya lol, enjoyed that one, great vid 😀👍
Yeah that narrow section was a breathe in bit, wide bars not welcome. If you look at the part about 30 seconds before I ride about 3 feet next to a sheer quarry drop 😁
First 7 minutes I don't have a clue where you are! Until you get to the scar. Can you give me an idea where the trails are please, live in Ashover too! 😂👍
Much of that is from Beeley Moor side towards Lumsdale then up and over towards Ashover. If you follow me on Komoot (Jonathan MTB Derbyshire.... . The route is on there! Cheers for the comments mate! 👍
Cheers! Do you know I thought you'd hate it 😂... I'm begining to think it was a rash purchase... Actually it makes a great sound for the walkers and I've had a few smiles at the sound which can only be good for trail relations.
Easiest is to follow me on Komoot "Jonathan MTB Derbyshire" it's called Ashover Rocks on there. You can download the GPX or simply press the navigate button when you are on the trail anywhere. You could of course adapt it a little to start from somewhere more convenient. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the message. I'd never ridden these parts before the section on the thumbnail is ace just near the golf course going towards Matlock The best way I would suggest is for you to follow me on Komoot (Jonathan MTB Derbyshire) all my routes should be down loadable as gpx . If you get the app follow me and access Derbyshire as your initial free area map you get full turn by turn navigation.
Cheers, there's some good stuff around that area it might be on Trailforks but not mine....I don't use it....did I hear it's been discontinued (or whatever the expression is)?
Looks like a fun day out in beauitfu surroundings lol getting lost is all part of the fun 👍
Well I'll be honest I wasn't lost as it was about a mile from my house, just Komoot instruction was a bit previous, so I went down the wrong way. 😁
Watched so many videos of that place and really enjoying it . Great ride once again
Glad you enjoyed it

Yes I have been told that is a great section after the drop in the quarry. . 👍

Top job Mate. Looks a great loop.
Cheers, bit of off piste, courtesy of using a planning app. Opens up something different.

Day? You underestimate my fitness 🤣🤣🤣 cracking ride cheers.
Lots of quality riding there!
Cheers pal, I'll take that. Not so great on the fist climb though 😜
First not fist 🤔
Looks really nice that ride, live the fact you can turn the bell on and off 😂
Not sure rubbishy is a word tbh....
"Rubbishy", ancient Derbyshire dialect, tha noz 🤣. People seem to like the bell, I've quite a few turn and smile.
Great video again mate, lovely trails. That bell would do my nut in though; I thought my daughter was pissing around with the alarm clock 😂

Have you got a gpx or strava for this one ?. I thought I knew ashover well but don’t recognise a lot of that !.

MTB Derbyshire yer I know the bit above the golf course, that’s sandy lane DH. Wasn’t sure where some of the lanes were though
Is it 'to Ashover and back' on your Komoot?
He's one step ahead, just replied with check out my Komoot 😂 No it's the "Ashover Rocks" June 20th. Hope that helps!
Looks ace. I’ve found this route on Komoot but I use Trailforks. Any idea if it’s on Trailforks.
Cheers, there's some good stuff around that area it might be on Trailforks but not mine....I don't use it....did I hear it's been discontinued (or whatever the expression is)?
@@MTB_Derbyshire no Trailforks is still active.

Hiya do you have the GPX file for this please?
Hi. Thanks for the question. It's from a few years ago this one. It's somewhere on my Komoot. Feel free to use them.
