Did this on Saturday 08/04/2023 was a bit above my paygrade and we were out over 4 half hour's weather fantastic but wish I had an ebike on the climbs. Jacob's ladder was interesting for a novice but got down it in one piece. Need do it again now
did you do it on an ebike ? ive done the Mam tor walking route and seen people do it on ebikes, i have a santa cruz bronson so the downhill sections no bother they look pretty hard climbs over the rock gardens next time am in the area i will be bringing my bike to do this trail thanks great video
Hi Richard. I’ve never ridden an ebike and have no plans to. Pretty tough climbs on this ride. I actually enjoy the challenge of that. It’s a good mix of climbing and descending is this ride
Great vid. From what I can tell this is the same as the MBR route? I love natural tech riding like this, how achievable do you think this is on a wet December day? Thinking of going this week but would like to know a realistic time to get round in, will prob end up doing some hike a bike as have not been riding as much of late so fitness levels are down.
Wheezy and the Bandit MTB thanks and yes get your self up here. There is amazing riding to be had. I see your videos now and again on the Scott Facebook group 😁
Looks awesome, great ride, we're planning on doing this in the coming weeks, I don't suppose you have a Garmin route for that? Also where did you park?
There is a Strava link and trailforks link in the description so you can download the gpx file to your Garmin. I could add the Kamoot link as well if you don’t subscribe to Strava and trailforks. Just let me know. I parked where the ride starts. Check the map on one of those links to see where
Mark Saunders the last 2 videos are before I put the bars on. I brought the french alps videos forward in my time line to make them more relevant as I have a 3 month backlog, and you would have been watching the alps stuff in december. I actually rode this ride in may. I put the green bars on after this ride. So next weeks vid is green. Hope all that made sense 😂
chakraUK 😂. It actually looked better on camera to what it was like in real life. But when dressed for it. I actually really enjoy riding in wet weather 😉
Good one Andy. Been ages since I have ridden this one. A real classic.

Awesome vid mate, i love edale, my favourite peaks ride :)
Great riding mate. Derbyshire giving you a nice weather welcome! Making Jacobs look easy there 👍
jnadin39 thanks mate. Pretty poor day weather wise. But still very enjoyable
I know it is not a new video ... but it is really enjoyable to watch and thanks for the trail forks map .... keep up the sterling work.
Thanks Pete. One of my favs is this. If you’ve not already. Get it ridden 👊👊
Looks a great ride, will try it in the coming weeks. Probably need drying out what with all rain we've had!
David Conman it’s probably 95% all weather ride is this one. So you won’t have to wait long
Managed to get this one done today. Hard work in the rain and mud, done a bit of pushing up some of those climbs.
where can I find the map for this route?

Stunning ride Mate.
Mark Collingwood thanks mark. Turned out not to bad considering the weather was so bad
Yes mate what a loop N the JL ♥️👍🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻My favourite one up in the peaks. Maybe @TheGib74 Umyou could organise a group ride ??
Weather must have been awful to see so few people on the trail!
And it was also mid week. Think that’s why I did it. As far to many people on a weekend around Jacobs ladder
Definitely want to give this one a try
It’s probably my fav ride in the peaks is that one. You would love it

Thanks Paul. I’m using a Garmin 820
Where's the green bars gone?

Connor Norfolk I have mate. But I don’t mind. If your interested to know. Im interested in telling you 😂😂.
It’s a 2016 Scott genius 710 plus 👊
@@TrailFinder thanks mate just want a new bike unsure on what I want but thank you though keep up the ace videos 👌🏻
Thanks Connor. And thanks for the kind words 👍
Lovely weather for it 🙄

@@TrailFinder Actually, so do I! Definitely quieter out on the trails. The major downside is the faff of cleaning everything afterwards!
