Another good mechanic-ing video Ray. Now you have Troy helping you, your shop can focus on the interesting things others are probably not prepared to put the necessary time to. It should be future-proof as battery cars sneakily try to displace the ones with real engines from the roads. and people like you know bow to keep them going and going.

Very much enjoy your videos. Amazing camerawork, Well lit, Fantastic Banter. Love it!
When a bolt or pin won't go in after a few minutes (i.e. at 24 to 28 min), using a phone camera or boroscope to look into hole / nut to see bolt/pin alignment as you wiggle it is often well and truly worth the effort.
The 'don't fully tighten any bolts until all bolts are started' principle (28 min) is a lesson I have to relearn every few years.

great job with the task and video. rubber boots are always such a difficult to get things lined up. it is always
easier to take apart then put back together you did a great job setting the tie rod ends length . can not wait

Ray has done this several times before when he worked at the other shop......🤦🏻‍♂ If he left the mount loose after beginning the vertical bolts, then inserting the center bolt would've been so much easier. He's not focused on finishing that he looses sight. It happens to so many technicians.

You are good man Ray. I am surprised the RAV4 needed a rack so early. The steering on my 25yr old no rust Sienna 168k had a slight click 7yrs ago when I took possession 119k I have held it in check. 1st never change all the fluid in an old R&P The click will be worse and accelerate wear. I removed the power steering fluid from the reservoir, and refilled the tank with Lucas! I added 1/2 bottle of AT205 seal polymer to prevent future seal leaks. It's time to install new PS hoses, before rubber deterioration inside the hoses wrecks my rack.
