Emilia is a lovely lady and a good barber. She entered into the fun too plus her commentary was great to listen to. And she worked out what felt right and would be good for your skin !
Now that was awesome. She did an excellent job and yes, I agree that using an electric razor first before straightedge is less irritating for me as well and I have a medium heavy beard. Great job. You found another keeper !!!!
A beautiful woman, a wonderful sunny personality, a professional barber. Martin you were a little shy. ;-) In addition, I really like the painting on the wall in the studio.
a kind advice for you. In Poland, we have many non-verbal communication signals that everyone understands and they are highly informative. If you are in a service and you are breathing loudly - inhale exhale - it means that you are very unhappy with the service being carried out and would prefer to finish and leave. If, in addition, you close your eyes while breathing loudly, this means that you are as upset as possible and are only holding back to avoid exploding because of your dissatisfaction. It is such a cultural peculiarity in the non-verbal communication of Poles, it is good to know this when you are in Poland. :-) I know that your emotions were very good, but the non-verbal signals were for a Polish receiver of the communication in opposition. It is worth systematising. 💛🙂.
If you read the comments on my videos, there are many people who "read" me like you do (and they are from all over the world - not Poland). "Don't smack your lips" "Why are you annoyed" Etc. These "signals" CAN BE indicative of one's state of mind. That's true. But NOT ALWAYS. I guarantee you only believe I'm annoyed because this is a video and you're missing half the context/picture 😁 And I've lived in Poland for 4 years, and I can't tell being "misread" like this only happened a handful of times. So I can believe a lot of Poles (and again - it's the same in all the western world really) use these clues. But I can say for certain these are not hard rules!
I love all your content. Could you try to find sometimes a barber who uses a traditional steel straight razor? It seems so rare in the whole world nowadays and I get why, but still. Try to ask if they have it and can use it.
The good old barbers didn't need any electric razor or two shaves, just a good pre-hydration of the skin and above all a good razor and knowing how each client's beard grows. Firm and concise strokes, not like many “barbers” do today who shave and look like they are grating cheese.
Archaic barbering doesn't mean it's better. Long strokes with a razor are just one of many techniques, it's often better to do short strokes depending on the type of skin, its texture, moles, shape and bend. If you were a long-time barber you would know that. The barber did a good job of moisturizing the skin, which is clearly visible in the video. Using a electric shaver on hard beards and on the chin and under the nose is a good way to avoid irritation when shaving smoothly, although I know many "manly men" who prefer to be cut or with redness than to use modern technology, just for the sake of it. As for a "good razor", nowadays every razor, a shavette, is for disposable cartridges due to regulations, this is regulated by the local sanitary inspection, so I don't know what you mean. Reusable steel razors are being phased out for hygiene and health reasons (unless you have an autoclave and many sets of razors to change, because each sterilization takes a 12 hours). I understand that there is a belief in the "men's razor", but really, everything moves with the times, you also have to think about hygiene and the customer's comfort, not just style. You don't use a hair trimmer just for principle?
interesting, when i saw the electric shaver and the straight shaver right after i thought..."what was the point of the electric shaver?" But then you mention how less irritated you felt at the end and you might be on to something here.
So I've watched many of your vids now and it seems only a few ACTUALLY wet shave you. Most now foil shave you then use a straight razor. 🤷♂️ whats the point after the foil. Way too many now so maybe its time to find some actual wet shaves
She can talk all she wants. She's a good barber and a lovely soul.
She could talk less 😀 filming a video is for her a bit inconvinient, she summit also that she might have the ADHD.
She deserves another video really liked her personality:)
I enjoy her conversation and being natural. I also appreciate your gracious spirit, Martin, as you relate to all these different people.
She mentioned she noticed people dont talk much on here, but honestly the best videos are when they talk a bit!
Ha yes not on the ASMR videos! All the videos with talking will be here now
@@MartinHervyyeah! We also like the talking
@@MartinHervy Big fan of both channels, keep doing what you are doing man :D safe travels and thanks for the content!!!
Great barber, excellent conversationalist, and super kind. Really liked her! 💈😊

The Polish videos are the best.
Agreed! Poland is the place to go. 👍
“This is why I forget English”
proceeds to speak in perfect English the entire video haha love it
People in Poland often underestimate their capabilities ;)
Talking or no talking, I'll take it all. She was a great barber and with a cool personality
She was amazing! I also loved her personality as well! She deserves a repeat visit for sure...
The art work and the Barber-Pole makes it pretty authentic. Liked the design a lot.
Your videos in Poland are probably my favorite...they're a bit light on the massages but other than that they're perfect.
The women there are hot and fierce 😉
She was brilliant, proper professional, if you can you should make more videos at this barbers. All the best from Ireland 🇮🇪
She's very beautiful & an excellent barber ! Love her glasses.
She did a fantastic job and gave a nice clean shave!

I don't think many people will agree with us. But for me it's the clear winning combo
@@MartinHervy That's cool. We don't have to follow the crowd. We just have to do what we like and feel is best for us. 😎

Wow that’s the most beautiful plaza I ever seen , and the road so clean 😍😍😍

She's chatty, and a bit cheeky. I like her. For someone who "forgot" English, she speaks it extremely well

Very nice. I am always amazed how you keep your camera steady
pretty sure he uses a gimbal, it auto steadies the camera and keeps it aimed at a target (him in this occurrence)

Beautiful quirky young woman. With a fabulous personality.
What a nice polish lady
Brilliant shave and a lovely woman. Really like her
I take non-stop talking or no talking at all anyday, instead of music over the natural sounds. Thank you
Good thing I never cover "the natural sounds" with music then 😁
Only just seen this vid really good how she explained her technique. Great vid and a lovely barber.

If you mean a razor without disposable blade, Impossible in most country I suspect since it's not allowed by law. "Not sanitary".
She's great
Committed, skilled, good looking girl.
Cool 😎 video
Muito bem feito ✔️
She is gorgeous
Selam Martin !
I didn't notice this wasn't shaves and massages hahah
So funny because I, too, have ADHD and always feel like I'm talking so much that my barber wants me to shut up! :)
It'd be interesting to see what happens with Emilia then haha
So I got a question if you can't see her. How were you able to get the camera Or her
Ciao Martin da quale paese provieni ?
France
Dinero fácil el proceso fue rápido gracias a la afeitadora eléctrica yo también haría lo mismo
If you invest in tools, you win if you don't stay stuck with 3 customers per day because of ancient tools 😅
Nice Humor 😂🤙
Hervy why it's not in HDR 60 fps?
Cause it's filmed in 30fps non HDR 🫡😁
The following videos will be in 60fps for the most part, but not HDR for a while
HI DEARS AND THE OTHER THING THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE THE BEST WAY TO GO TO THE POINT
There's nothing better than getting a shave with a cutthroat by a beautiful woman.

i'm always first somehow, wtf.

Can you just buy a house in Poland already 😃
Haha well I know my audience likes these videos so I will continue to do some of course

The first English speaking pole I've ever seen
At 9:29 she doesn't tell you "relax" but "Proraso" which is the brand of the pre-shave cream :D
Haha indeed 😬

Why you are always moving the mouth ?
Did that tram go on a diet? That's a seriously skinny tram.

The shaver doesn't cut as close as the blade. Doing it first allows for a decent "safe" shave and makes the razor shave much easier and smoother.
Did you tip her ?
I don't think so
Go back and marry her
Those razor's are loud and distracting.
Bad bad bad all proces is wrong
