    Hello Dr, I just conducted a Potentiodynamic Polarisation on Nickel Aluminium Bronze and the plots and Ecorr I obtained are all similar to the data I found online by other researches except for the Icorr. The value I obtained is 10 times smaller than the recorded Icorr from online sources. May I know what variables affect the Icorr value? Thank you in advance for your help

      There are many factors that can cause lower current value. Is the exposed area is the same with previous work? How about the duration for open circuit potential? What is the concentration of the tested electrolyte? How about the scanning rate..etc..perhaps you can try and narrow the variables

      @@mohdhazwan6523 Thank you so much Dr. Could I contact you personally in the future if I have further questions regarding my experiments/project on Nickel Aluminium Bronze. It would be of great help, your videos help me out a lot.

    In Randles which value should i take the Rp or goodness of fit

      @@Hadil-cs1gm it depends on what kinds of discussion you are aiming for..let say for corrosion performance then you will use Rct or Rp but to explain about the best fitting then you will use goodness of fit

    Hello I have a problem in polarization impedance EIS, I got a disorderly points that do not form a loop , Is the problem at the level of the reference electrode?

    • @mohdhazwan6523
      @mohdhazwan6523  Рік тому

      There are lots of possibilities for scattered points. Probably you could check:
      1. The connection between your cable and the cell
      2. The integrity of your references electrode (perform OCP to check the potential values)
      3. Bubbles formed on the surface of the working electrode
      4. Frequency range is too low or too high
