I am super excited by this work 👍
sir i am a msc student struggling with my project thank you for your precious and valuable guidance u saved me😊
Very good demonstration. Thanks for uploading such a tutorial.
Thank you for this performance. I really enjoyed it. And I’d love to watch some video about discussion of results for SCs
Thanks for informative video
Nice Group
Sir you made my concept very clear.. thanks for so much information. Full informative. Thank you sir, big fan
Thank you @Himanshu Murari, Happy to help
@@light-xi8wr plz can you give your email id....m working on asymmetrical symmetrical SC ......can u plz tell me if I use rectangular shaped electrodes ......plz give your email id...
I am your big fan too.....clear unique description
@@ritugarg7438 I have provided my instagram id, you can clear your doubts there
@@ritugarg7438 yes you can
Thank YOU VERY VERY MUCH SIR... IT WILL HELP US A LOT
Hi, this video is very usefull.. Thank you.... please add another video on the analysis of the supercapacitor data obtained.
Excellent presentation
Very good. Thanks a lot.
What is the purpose of the 3-electrode configuration? Can we do GCD in 3 cell configuration if we don't have a glove box? How can we select the voltage window for the new material?
Very helpful! Thank you.
Which is the liquid added drop by drop on the coins in two electrode testing
hi, the SC demonstration is very informative. my doubt is the sample has to be coated both side or one side of the electrode for 3 electrode system as well as 2 electrode system.
On one side only
Nice,
A question. For the two electrodes SC setup, are the mass loading same? Is not necessary to load the CE 4 times of the WE?
Thanks again
For Symmetric supercapacitors equal mass should be loaded. For Asymmetric SC masses are loaded with differently depending upon type of material. you can read more about asymmetric from this paper "pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsnano.5b01790"
Very nice presentation and information. Please make video on how to use electrochemical work station properly
I am not regular with uploads but i will try you recommendations
Very useful video
Wow very nice
Superb demonstration.....
What is the "mass of the active material" in the 3 electrode configuration?
Why you put 0.002 A value for Anodic and Cathodic Current in the GCD measurement?
Can we use graphene oxide instead of carbon black for supercapacitor application?
that is super good, iam doing phd from hunan university , i hope u can make a vidoe to how to calculate mathmatically
? How does the wet carbon bond to the metal I try using graphene power mix with potassium hydroxide but it’s not banding to the aluminum it’s falling off when I dry it in the oven should I use something sticky like polyurethane
Do you use nickel foam as substrate for working electrode?
How to find out or fix the potential window for CV and GCD? Sometimes potential window used for CV will not work for GCD.
I am proud of you bhai
Can we take copper foil as our substrate for anode preparation
Can you please explain irreversible changes you have mentioned during stabilization of potential window?
Hi, I'm currently working on Global Supercapacitor Market Report
I have researched some data based on various type and end-use applications for Supercapacitors
I would like to discuss some of the points with you, regarding data obtained from the secondary sources as well as annual reports & press releases of major companies operating in Supercapacitors market
It would be great if we could have a small chat on the topic
hey its good to know about your topic, you can reach me via instagram light_1411
Very good
Hi. My research is SCs with Ni foam. But my GCD plot hasn't come out, and I also have no idea to set the parameters.
Can I contact you to ask?
Awesome
I want to ask, how we select the potential values for chronopotentiometry, if we select the same value which is used in CV measurement, often we can not get fully charge and discharge curve, please explain this one. Thanks and maybe asked some more questions in future.
He explained it in this video. First he selected the stable window of potential and then he started the CP measurements using this (stable) range of potential
Hi, I watched your video, it is awesome and full of information. I have some small doubts.
1. Can we use DMSO instead of NMP to make active material slurry? or you can suggest any other chemical to make the material slurry.
2. Can we drop cast the slurry solution on copper tape or aluminum tape or ITO/FTO?
3. Can we use graphite powder instead of active carbon as it is easily available in the market.
1. you can use any solvent (DMSO, EC, DMC, PC, Methanol, Ethanol, etc.)
2. make sure the adhesion is good
3. The purpose of using AC is high surface area which is required for SCs, Graphite is generally used for batteries.
Please anyone know that which substrate he has used for working electrode
Hello Brother I just have started working on Supercapacitors can you help helpe out in understanding the basics of it.
This video is informative to me.
you can follow this article, this will help you alot. doi.org/10.1039/C8CS00581H
Hello brother can you share your mail id
Why is cooling chemicals is needed on the electro
My senior take potential 0 to 0.6 for cyclic voltammetry curve. But it did not show full fill cycle. we see half of CV curve. so why he can take 0 to 0.6 potential. 0.5 M sodium sulfate is an electrolyte and activated carbon is electrode material. Please answer my question
The voltage window depends upon the electrolytes, for aqueous its low, but some organic and ionic liquids gives higher window
Good Information...For the two electrodes SC setup, you have used adjust plate...what is the exact name for that?
HS Flat Cell or Ocean Cell
thanks. make more videos
Thank you for nice video sir. How can we reach you out?
Hi, very helpful demonstration. In three electrode system, may I know the base electrode materials of your working electrode on which you drop casted your material of investigation? Not the coin one, other three square pieces. Thanks
The square pieces are Stainless steel
which substrate did you use for. coin cell ?
For the two electode.. does the electrode have to be circular or can you use a square electrode?
you can use according to your need, here we have chosen circular electrodes because we have customised our ocean Cell (HS flat cell) in circular shape.
Generally, the final device is packed in coin cell casing, which is also circular, so the circular shape here is natural choice.
@@light-xi8wr thank you
Thankyou for your demonstration, really helpful. But i have questions, for example some paper said sometimes use mV/s and some A/g, what is the different? And can i use nickel foam current collector for h2so4 electrolyte, cause my literature said it safe with SS current collector, so i've plan to change it with nickel foam which have good performance and more corrosion resistance, isn't it? Thanks in advance
yes, I agree on many papers reports in A/g and mV/s, both are correct, One uses GCD's formula, and the other uses CV area to calculate. Both are accepted and correct.
For Current Collector (CC), you can use Ni foam, since you clean it first with HCl, it must be corrosion-free. But it is not a good practice for SCs bcoz most of the contribution comes from CC
@@light-xi8wr
Plz explain why nickel foam is not good for supercapacitor
@@arvindkumarmishra6993 because the conductivity of NF its self is very high. So it is very less chances to measure the accurate conductivity of fabricated sample.
hello sir, can we deposit our active material on any other substrate apart from stainless steel?
you must check whether your current collector is reacting (corrosion/oxidation) with electrolyte or not? In case it reacts you must find a suitable electrode. one case i have experienced is with copper, performance of my device degraded coz oxide layer was formed after acid etching, you must take care for such situation.
@@light-xi8wr How about using a glassy carbon electrode (GCE)? Why I don't see many people using GCE in literature? Any reason known to you? Thanks
Very informative, u have an idea about vanadium pentoxide for supercapacitors...if plz
yes a lot of reports you can read for V2O5 kindly look at google scholar or scopus.
Please show the GCD parameters
Can you please explain how to choose the gcd parameters
