Thanks Brian, he had a good life
Believe it or not I did the Holland track in 2000 in a bus with my wife and 3 small kids. Call us stupid but We were told by the police it was ok at the time but then it started to rain… we got bogged 70ks from Coolgardie and thankfully some local miners were able to pull us out!
WOW that would have been interesting , I don't think you would get away with that now the track is very cut up in sections , I have never heard of it being done in a bus before
Good to honor your friends ❤️. Have to have a race. You and Joe.
I did recently buy a mountain bike. Old school, i have to peddle.
It fits my mindset as a youngster riding my bike. Thanks for the trip.
😊
Hi Richard glad you liked it , never to old LOL
Hi there, im new here and have really enjoyed your video, I have never been to a 4WD drive but i guess it`s a real adventure,i hope to experience this one day but until then, I have subscribed to support and look forward to future videos as you take us to new places and share your adventures and experiences.
Cheers, new friend here not only today but here to stay
Welcome aboard! Thanks so much for watching , there are a lot of trips here that don't require a 4X4 so hope you find something to suit , keep the shiny side up . Pete
Beautiful adventure brother thanks for sharing, new friend here stay connected God bless you
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment , stay safe out there and keep the shiny side up . Pete
I was going to ride the track with some mates a couple of years ago starting at the Coolgardie end. I was going to take the easy way around on my Road King fitted with enduro tyres. I was following a Jeep and caravan. The universe stepped in and gave me a broken drive belt just outside of Southern Cross. Fun times. Ah the XT500. I owned and rode one for 27 years. Great bike. Great memories. Thanks for sharing yours Peter.
Never to late , that would be a trip on a Road King , would love to film that !
@@peterhewitson71 I’m afraid it is too late Peter. Last Tuesday evening I t-boned a young lady who went through a stop sign entering Forrest Highway (down near Bunbury). I was catapulted over her car and ended up with savage bruising and skin off my right hip. The King is a write off as is her Commodore. I’m a very thankful to be alive.
@@brontarlabta.k.a.briantayl3484 So sorry to hear that , I have been in the same , got cleaned up on my Harley by a Volvo driver in Mundaring , that is why I ride off road these days . Hope you are fit and well soon , as I always say keep the shiny side up , best regards Pete
Done the holland 3 times in my 4wd, great track and plenty of wood for fires, would be interesting on a motorcycle, cheers Pete
It was a lot of fun on the bike some places the 4x4's had a bit of task to get past , might do it again one day . Cheers for commenting
Sorry for the loss of your friends. Looks like a very fun track to ride!!!!
Thanks , a great ride
