So we have an upper level low right on top of us in SE Kansas, a hurricane coming into the south and we cannot a single drop of rain out of all of that? What gives? What will it take to end this freaking drought??? Once again, this SUCKS!
Need a stalled boundary from Kansas to Ohio with a good moisture fetch and short waves move along it. That be the only way to get truly beneficial rains. These teleconnections and ENSOs throw a wrench into everything here in the Heartland. I have never seen the weather patterns act like this at least for consecutive years. Case of Haves and Have nots.
The ULL isnt over SE KS, it over SE MO so we are in the northly flow which is very dry. I commented yesterday that the curre t pattern is still the 2023-2024 pattern, we are about to start the 24-25 pattern which will be 100% different. It could still be a dry pattern but it will be dofferent no matter, almost couldnt be worse than the 23-24 pattern so you have reason to hope going into Oct for some bigger changes
We might I said might get some good rains from this tropical system and upper low in Missouri. Models are all over the place in totals. After this we go in to the deep doo doo browns on precip. These darn teleconnections and ENSO really screw things up. Never have I seen the weather act like this. What gives really.
thanks for the update!!!!!
Eric, it is sooo crazy how quickly this thing runs out of moisture and seems to disappear. 🤔
Hello from Murfreesboro Tennessee. South of Nashville. Could see some rain here
I feel the midwest is on month long cycles. I feel like it was yesterday you were saying midwest doesn't need anymore rain, now it's too dry haha

If I could pump all the rain we're getting in Charlotte, NC to you, I absolutely would. I feel my crops do worse with too much rain vs not a lot
Charlotte is beautiful city, i love the green spaces
Most cities have no clue what thqt adds, best of luck in this nasty storm!

Orthographic lift is s scary monster
CONGRATULATIONS! This is your most discouraging video I’ve yet seen. I’d lay money on the prediction we don’t get rain until April.
