Honestly this is kind of reassuring for me cause that means that there ARE other people watching my videos! I always thought that i was accidentally giving myself more views by watching them then getting excited for nothing because i i thought i was giving those views myself.
This doesn't seem to be working for normal videos. But I've been doing this with my shorts just moments after I upload them. Just watching it like 4-5 times to get that extra engagement up. And it somehow works. *By uploading at a time when my subscribers are most active + rewatching 4-5 times* I get my videos in more people's feed and get more views. I've managed to gain 1k+ views on each of my 30 shorts with only 300 subs.

Then I let the viewers decide, and then I will analize the results and focus on the successive points to help improve my channel!

Great video! Loved your style. Subbed to your other channel as well - I knew it couldn’t be your first time because you seem to have mastered loads of different parts of the production process - fantastic video. It kept me watching right till the very end! The same also goes for other people watching your videos - you can get multiple views from the same person (for example, people tend to return to music videos more than once, as well as tutorials) but the algorithm tries to detect whether it’s normal viewing behaviour - so rewatching a video CAN be pretty normal but would still only count as one view usually unless you came back to it again at a different time. Overall it’s a good thing for all as it keeps the metrics realistic rather than open to abuse by bots etc. It definitely shows that the best way to succeed is by making quality content which you certainly nailed here. There's also retention. If you watch a video on repeat 10x, it'll register only 1 view, but will count 1000% retention (of course if not viewed from your own account). I noticed that self views get registered. Watching ones own private videos, the views get registered - an eternally private video can only get views from its creator. But they get annulled over time. When I die and they play the video of my life story, at the very end, the recommended videos will have that damned swimming guy tutorial on it. 02:16 I can not escape him. Good video, you're way less annoying than a lot of these 'get views' channels.
This was very helpful. I was actually trying to figure out how many people OTHER than myself watched some videos I created for a team. I watched them several times to analyze the game, so I'm glad it only registers my views as 1 view. Now I know how many separate people watched the videos. My conclusion is that many of the team members don't even take the time to view their own game to get better. wah wah wah.
Interesting to know, my mum shows her friends some of my videos over and over on her phone (holiday videos) I wondered if that affected my views - I keep telling her to get them to watch on their devices!!!
You have to refresh the page not just hit replay.. It works to an extent (or atleast years ago it did) but after you rack up views it starts to take them away after a week or two (again this was some years ago so not sure if its the same). Edit: Yeah guess you figured it out in the end lmao.
I've seen your video twice so,I decided to sub but the issue is I dunno what it takes to get my views up and you're really trying 🥶🥶🥶 youtube drains life out of new content creators b4 they can get well know or pushed their video forward
i think this is incorrect i dont think replaying the video would count as a view because you stayed on the same page and maybe if you reloaded the page and watched again if would of gotten more views but it probably wont stay
Great video. Quick question I record on my 13 pro and the compression is making my videos looking bad at times. Is there a way to get better looking videos. I have changed upload settings to original. Please help. Thank you.
i remember doing some thing similar ages ago but with privet window tabs i would get the link and open like 6 search pages and play them all. i think it help my video but im not 100% sure
I do this mainly to watch it to make sure nothing went wrong with the video, and I'm also afraid to click away to tank my watch time if I'm just reviewing something. So I let all of it play usually.
It took me only a short time to figure out that they were counting my views of my own video's. Probably not a good idea to try too get views that way though.
the reasons to watch your own content is a) quality control to check how bad its compressed and what audio glitches youtube compression causes b) respond to comments no other reasons
From my experience, replaying videos is only seen as one view but it will push retention, coz youll have a 10000% retention rate from watching a video 100 times

When I die and they play the video of my life story, at the very end, the recommended videos will have that damned swimming guy tutorial on it. 02:16 I can not escape him. Good video, you're way less annoying than a lot of these 'get views' channels.
Thanks!
This is great - Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge
Lots of respect from Sri Lanka
Glad it was helpful!
@@VEEDCREATORS always bro 😉
You have to add your videos to a playlist and play the playlist lol
Bro really amazing content! I try my best to
create good videos and still struggle.
2:16 didnt expect to see jack make an appearance in such a different video
Holy shit it works for my channel! My vids are popping off !!
Interesting to know, my mum shows her friends some of my videos over and over on her phone (holiday videos) I wondered if that affected my views - I keep telling her to get them to watch on their devices!!!
can we use incognito window for watching the video and will it work ?
You have to refresh the page not just hit replay.. It works to an extent (or atleast years ago it did) but after you rack up views it starts to take them away after a week or two (again this was some years ago so not sure if its the same).
Edit: Yeah guess you figured it out in the end lmao.
Nice one bro amazing job
No problem, glad you liked it!
i do this 24/7... not bc i want to but bc the vid is so frikin good
Me too but then I start to see all the mistakes I made while editing and stop
I've seen your video twice so,I decided to sub but the issue is I dunno what it takes to get my views up and you're really trying 🥶🥶🥶 youtube drains life out of new content creators b4 they can get well know or pushed their video forward
Thanks for the sub! What kind of videos do you make?
@VEED CREATORS tech videos technically, but I do mixed videos on my short...
Great informative video mate, appreciate it. subbed.
I probably need to watch ALL my content 1000 times 😂7 days a week 😂
See your channel after the afterlife
i think this is incorrect i dont think replaying the video would count as a view because you stayed on the same page and maybe if you reloaded the page and watched again if would of gotten more views but it probably wont stay
New Friend Here! Your channel came across my screen. Looking forward for more of your experiments . Good Luck 👍
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this!
Amazing experiment !!!
Thank you Ryan for this video...the First One week of my Channel I did Watch reapetedly my uploaded Videos. You answer my self Q :)
Great video. Quick question I record on my 13 pro and the compression is making my videos looking bad at times. Is there a way to get better looking videos. I have changed upload settings to original. Please help. Thank you.
Omg amazing content bro
Thank you!
Thanks for the Valuable info. It's very helpful for new channels like mine. 🙂
Its about 6-7 views per day for each video before yt stops counting, also if you do this try not to watch the same video, switch between videos.
but does it increase the watch time hours or affect them at all???
i remember doing some thing similar ages ago but with privet window tabs i would get the link and open like 6 search pages and play them all. i think it help my video but im not 100% sure
thank you for this kind of experiment it helps me a lot cause I'm a small content creator
I do this mainly to watch it to make sure nothing went wrong with the video, and I'm also afraid to click away to tank my watch time if I'm just reviewing something. So I let all of it play usually.
Great video I'll keep grinding
Hey Bro, I have a question I did same thing past but no watch count but now my watchtime is real my channel will monitize or not??
If people don't want to watch your videos what's the point of being monetized?
first of all you need to put the link on your browser everytime.
also if you put your video in private mode then it works as well.
It took me only a short time to figure out that they were counting my views of my own video's. Probably not a good idea to try too get views that way though.
Oh my god this is an awesome watch 🎉🎉🎉 creative ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
the reasons to watch your own content is
a) quality control to check how bad its compressed and what audio glitches youtube compression causes
b) respond to comments
no other reasons
Sometimes we enjoy watching our own video again periodically for lots of reasons depending on the type of video.
You also have to close the link each time you view or go to something else and go back to it because it’s not going to count
What if you use a VPN and new IP for each view?
Some people say changing the title after uploading three four days later create trouble it may freeze also is it correct
From my experience, replaying videos is only seen as one view
but it will push retention, coz youll have a 10000% retention rate from watching a video 100 times
thanks for recommending me VEED
Any time!
the answer is _YES_
Is there a penalty for watching your own videos
I read that someone has to watch 30 seconds of an ad to get your video counted as a view
Very informative and helpful
Glad it was helpful!
