I was about to say $2200 for that Ranger? Then you said Orange County. Then I saw all the parts. I bought my 92 4x4 4.0 with issues for only $250 in the midwest. I can tell you, the 4.0 have oiling issues on the top end so make sure you replace the top end ( you can hear the ticking even after the "rebuild") you will have to run a little thinner oil likely synthetic to protect it when done or you will end up replacing everything again.
2200.....running and driving and with tons of extra parts? WHAT IN GODS GREEN EARTH. Florida is a different breed I guess

My rangers name is sally, shes old but a bad a truck. I just bought the T3/4 turbo and racehorse intercooler with all the other bs. It's a 2.3l lima engine. I cant wait to run boost through her.

I'm turning 16 this year and I have no Idea which truck to pick. A Toyota tacoma or a Ford ranger? I have ideas of suspension and tires for both.

Following cuz I just tactically acquired a SC ‘02 long bed. It has the 4oh, and it’s auto, but she scoots better than my ‘94 Toy PU did. I came from the dirt and moved to street, now I’m working on both!
I have a 2wd 93 thats Red with the 4.0v6 and manual trans, Mine looks waaaaaaay worse tho. Like 500k on it, but it still starts when its -30F out. 4.0 rangers came with the 8.8 rear instead of that weak a$$ 7.5", so thats nice
I get that Back to the Future vibe every time I walk out to my shop (Blue 87 Toyota 4x4). Ranger reminds me of my buddy's truck, $700 extracab raingutter Ranger (AKA Goldmember). His was "supposed" to be a budget build (now backhalved/linked/engine swapped/caged). Good luck with it.
Got one with 171k, 5spd for $500. Turns out it just needed the clutch bled, and a new throttle cable. A running ranger that doesn’t burn or leak anything for less than $600.

I had just gave and towed a 1995 ranger with the 4.0 w/5spd x-cab down to my cousin. I had it as a project but have 4 others lol, so he wanted a toy truck so I donated the truck to him. It was black also. I thought he sold it for a min haha.
