Very nice video. I live 30 miles north of there in Rockford. I’m a trained Weather Spotter , and I’ve never seen one like that and hope I never do!! Can’t think of the little town that got leveled by this!!
Fairdale got a direct hit from this
I was about 30 minutes from that. That same cell wound up in Tinley Park, IL. I saw this cell first hand and it scared the living crap outta me. It ended up behind me on the interstate. I knew something was in that cell and this is proof there was.

I was in Shabbona illinois at the time. About 15 minutes away. My dad and I were praying for the people in Rochelle. We were also watching the tornado but it wasn’t coming for us.

One oddity I have noticed with this tornado was that in some videos of it, there is frequent and very intense lightning. In this one, and others, there is none. It's the same storm! I don't get it.Where's the fucking lightning, DONOVAN?!?!
