I'm a die-hard Layne fan, but that AIC album is SOLID af. And that AFI I got during that last repress (finally!) IMO the last good AFI album!
If anything,”Power Up” by AC/DC was just what the doctor ordered. We were in the middle of the pandemic and the timing was right and it it cheered me up! God bless them!🎧
BGWTB is an excellent album. I saw AIC live in Virginia Beach around 2007 and it was a cool sort of tribute band, featuring 3/4 members of the original band. William was ok. I was deployed to Afghanistan when BGWTB came out and I remember being crazy impressed by it. It feels like a legit AIC album in many ways, but hard to pretend without Layne. But in the intervening years, they've really proven themselves. This and DINOSAURS are exceptional hard rock albums in their own right. I'm getting this to hear whether it's better on vinyl or not. If not, I won't keep it.
Lady Gaga announced a companion album to Joker 2 this morning called Harlequin. Also available this Friday.

Picking up the new album by Billy Strings
Jay-Z/Linkin Park Collision Course is getting reissued this week. That's my only pickup for the week.

It’s hard to find new 180g vinyls unless there’s an up charge. Vinyls are 140g to make prices a little more reasonable, but I’d rather have 180g or at least on a 160g versions.
Why do you talk so fast? Slow it down please.
